What's /metal/'s opinion on Portal?

 No.4313

I want to like them. I really do.

 No.4328

I live in their home city and go to local gigs occasionally.

Boy, there sure are a lot of bands trying to sound exactly like fucking portal around here.

 No.4341

Outre is their magnum opus, too bad everything else they've released pales in comparison.

 No.4649

I like them a lot. But as >>4341 said, Outre is currently their best album and they haven't managed to top it yet.

 No.4650

Yeah, I have to agree with everyone else here. I enjoy the things they do and every time they get brought up I think they seem really cool, but then I go listen to them on my own and they're just underwhelming.

seepia is there most technical, creative, and chaotic. Outre was nice, so was Swarth, but both those are focused mainly on the production rather than the actual songwriting

>>4783

True, also

>tfw ausfag and still haven't seen them live

 No.4799

It's a nige game.
