That's a lot of masturbatory tech death OP. There are songs on those albums that I'd consider pretty good, but the whole album? Save for Atheist and maybe Acid Bath, no. Not really.

Yeah, I usually like my music more raw and dark, but I really love what Obsequiae is doing on that album. Even though it's clearly a "produced" album, it always has a really organic sound to it, and never really comes off as mechanical with any of the effects used.

And the brightness and colorfulness of the melodies combined with the black metal influence with the drums and some of the guitar parts gives it a really unique sound. This album really is a breath of fresh air.

Sorry if I sound like I'm shilling or whatever, I promise I'm not being paid for this lol. Sometimes when you hear something that really sticks out to you you want to sing it's praises from the rooftops, ya know?
