People call metal sexist. racist, (insert group here)-ist all the time. But the only people that believe it are people that are not metalheads. Metal is also pretty a-political as a genre. There are people from all over the spectrum of political beliefs in metal, but the genre of metal itself has no real political leaning which makes it very hard for any political or sociopolitical ideology to become accepted by a large amount of metalheads.

Metal is not immune to feminism in the sense that not individual metalhead is a feminist, but it is immune to it in the sense that metal will likely never hold a single political ideology above all others.

You're correct, there are probably feminist metalheads, but I think they're probably of a different breed than the SJWs I was talking about. I vaguely recall vid related, who are definitely feminists, or at least dominatrices.they're also not like, terrible

I just seriously doubt there are any metalheads that preach "equality" or "diversity", I think those ideologies would be greeted by people calling them gay. There's no real way to make "acceptance" metal, it's just not cool. Even the probable lesbians I included in the vid are pretty blatant with their KILL ALL MEN angle at times.

I think metal is traditionalist.

Think about it, most lyrical content is based around old forgotten cults, gods and religions, myths, epic battles, be they fantasy or historical, nature, gore and brutality on the level of medieval torture techniques. A feeling I usually get while listening to metal is nostalgia, in the sense that I feel like we should go to a previous state of humanity, a state of natural law. A lot of metal is nationalistic, especially once you consider that lyrical content based on myths of the band's country is very common. It's also not limited to European myths, just look at bands such as the Taiwanese Chthonic, Chinese Tang Dynasty, Mexican Xibalba etc.

The community itself is apolitical because pretty much any worldview is represented, anything from anarcho-communism to national socialism to plain inoffensive centrism. Though, in my experience metalheads usually go for the extremes, myself included.

Also read the comments of any video for Nokturnal Mortum and see how often people are bitching about the "white power" themes. Also all those whining "I listen to Burzum for the music, not the ideology."

Metal has been infiltrated and like gaming it will be killed by SJWs.
