That wasn't the guy who made the thread, that was me rather unsuccessfully proving my point. I've only ever asked questions in the stickies three times in total, perhaps I've been unfair. But you have to bear in mind how annoying it is trying to take part in a thread only for the board to tell you: "this thread has been deleted". It allows the mods to become arbiters of what is and isn't meritable, and I've spent many an exodus trying to avoid this shit already. I don't want a "clean and tidy" board so much; to me it seems unnecessary.
