i stopped caring about eight months ago, there's just nothing that can be done.

there's no escape from the failed normalfags who have latched onto nintendo and professed it as the greatest thing of all time, then flooded /v/.
i thought there was a chance they'd all stay on halfchan, i remember like the first week of 8chan /v/ there was maybe only 8 nintendo threads versus 4freechan /v/'s 40 (literally forty, I counted).
but, well, suffice to say I was wrong. elitist casuals circlejerk about mario kart and spend their days posting attention whoring photographs of their measly 3DS collections that're all literally the same as each other because the circlejerk is so strong have become the face of /v/ while threads about good games either die or have an abundance of retards who ventured out of their epic zelda thread posting about how they don't understand it and want to be spoonfed.

when I spouted off those numbers, 8 and 40, I did of course mean that was the number of threads on the catalog at one time and not over the course of a day/week whatever, just to reiterate.

since I have nothing better to do, why don't I post an explanation of a cycle I've witnessed happen countless times since this new era of circlejerking failed normies took over. anyone like me will be able to recognize the pattern/already know about it.

>tumblr faggot invades all the generals about this franchise he had previously never heard of before and posts absolute bullshit
>he's not alone, millions of other pokemon playing tumblr faggots are beside him
>a change soon comes forth in the generals
>this new title is circlejerked so hard despite being poorer in quality than previous games that this horrible, wrong opinion becomes accepted and the previous titles (and subsequently their fans) are pushed aside, leaving nothing but poor quality posts, attention whoring, tumblr memes, etcetera to be the majority of the generals
>thus leading potential new players to the franchise to also buy into the hype and inadvertently become tumblr faggots themselves that join the circlejerk and disregard the previous entries of course
>the cycle repeats itself once the next newest epic casualized diarrhea entry in a once great franchise is released on the 3DS
this sort of stuff didn't used to happen because tumblr faggots weren't so large in number and DS, PSP, PS2, Gamecube etcetera libraries were so fucking huge that there was no way normalfags would have ever even heard the name Etrian Odyssey before in their lives.
now with the 3DS having maybe 10 good titles to play, well, you know what happens next. It's obviously inevitable that they are to catch wind of them, somehow, and they can only play Pokemon for so long.
