Okay so there's a monster hunter thread. The monster hunter thread gets to post 300 and starts auto saging. Said thread gets all the way to page 15 (the okay to make a new thread).
New thread gets made, then gets deleted despite being within the rules of either 700 posts or page 15.
What was the reasoning behind this? Like i get it, having duplicate threads in the catalog is fucking annoying for everyone, but why.
Unfortunately I have no pictures to prove my problem because why would I when the deletion came out of nowhere?

Seconding this.
Said thread was at 500+ replies and was saging. Hit page 15 and was gonna kick the bucket soon anyway…

Some clarification would be nice, at least. The old thread 404'd two minutes after the new thread was deleted.
Was it really necessary to delete it in the first place? If so, why?

All I know is that Monster hunter threads were like the shining gem of those horrible summers during the early years of the downfall of /v/

>>4475Wow i havent seen that picture in a while.
I can understand that, but that isnt the point of the thread. The thread was well within the rules stated and still got deleted. All we need is clarification.

OP probably deleted it himself to remake it without "general" in the title.

Sorry about that. That was my mistake. Didn't notice how low it was on the catalogue.

>>4483OP from the thread you deleted and the current monhun thread, it's okay to make another thread once it's around page 15?
