There are so many generals its starting to clog up other discussion from happening, especially with dubsbombing and sagebombing in full effect.
It would be nice if the owners of /v/ could create a /vg/ board or promote the one that already exists like a motherfucker because it is really getting annoying when you create a thread to only have it saged and dubbed by someone saying there was a general up. It wouldn't be a problem if 90% of the time the generals were not a circlejerk.

I'm the guy who posts the Puzzle Pirates threads, here to discuss my point of view and join in the discussion.
I post my threads on /v/ because it opens our group up to a wider userbase. They're relatively slow threads that tend to sink low in the board and pop back up again every so often, and yes, it's often times the same people.
I can't speak for other generals, but I know at least in mine, most of what goes on happens in the game, and so it's only the same people posting generally because most everyone else just plays the vidya after they saw it here.
I have yet to see someone say "Hurr there's a general for this", but if there are people like that, I would suggest you ignore them for being faggots, unless the thread is of the exact same content as the thread you're ignoring, which would then be a rule violation regarding general content.

I'd consider your opinion of "generals clogging up /v/" if you could actually provide proof of that. Because as I look through the catalogue I don't see a whole lot of it.
Post a picture highlighting the generals in the catalogue, or link a bunch of active ones to show what you mean.
