It's time to find a hobby for the next 16 days
So, I'm looking for someone to copy and upload their 100% save files in which they've extracted all of the prisoners and upload it for me. I only have an hour or two to play a day and I just started Ground Zeros at the beginning of the month. So far I'm at 35%.
I'm good, but not pretty good
Just look for "mgsv_gz_save_data_gl_en0" and "mgsv_gz_save_data_gl_en1" in your steam folder in the Program Files(86x) folder and copy both files.
I'll play the game as normally, and try to 100% it myself, but it's nice to have insurance, y'know?

The ending of MGS1 was too optimistic. It's kind of sad Solid Snake wasn't truly able to overcome his genes neither his programming of being a perfect soldier good goy.
So in the end genes actually matter.

2 made a lot of (so-called) MGS fans butthurt, but one thing generally agreed upon (except by pseudo-intellectual hipsters) is how just ahead of it's time the story of MGS2 was. Such a crazy redpill narrative, unlike anything ever done in any other game.

Metal Gear Online
Some stuff about MGO3 got confirmed.
Metal Gear Online will support up to 16 players on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, and up to 12 players on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Maps will be fairly large
There will be bullet drop but it will differ from the single player mode such that it will make MGO more balanced

So, we've all seen this thing, right? Coming 1984.
Now, this could just be coincidence, but knowing Kojima, it might very well be deliberate too. The game is set to release on 1/9 (if you write dates like a normal person, and not an American).
But what does the 84 mean? It's probably not anything to do with it releasing in 2084. Personally, I think there'll be an announcement of sorts on the 8/4, which is coming up pretty soon. I think it'll be ports to newer consoles of the legacy collection or whatever, so PC and newer players can enjoy the old games.
What do you guys think? Am I just grasping at straws here, or might there be something to it?

Aside from invisible walls, what was stopping anybody from giving Fortune a nice bat in the side of the head? It should've been obvious much sooner that she was no Lady Luck. With a health bar like that, CQC could've taken her out in less than a minute.

Probably the least discussed game in the MGS canon.Kojima always incorporates certain themes in each MGS game and in Peace walker, it was about Peace.
And one thing especially I'd like to talk about is Paz's role in this.
Paz, literally meaning Peace, in the begining had appeared as an innocent person, someone you would want to protect and was someone you(snake) had set out to fulfill her goal of peace.
But then the end of Chapter 5 occurs and suddenly, peace changes. Peace betrays you and sets out to kill you, revealing the whole innocent act was fake. Paz was a metaphor about how fuckle peace can be and how violence takes place once peace turns bad.
I wanted to word this all better but this is the gist of it. Is what I'm saying plausible?

So what are your favourites from the MG OST?The metal gear saga one is one of my favourites and for songs with vocals, I'd say it's probably Heaven's Divide but Can't say goodbye to yesterday was one I always liked and though it was a lovely way to end MGS2.

My Opinions on MGSV Ground Zeroes
Guys am I the only one who did not liked MGS5 at all?Tried it a few months ago and it ended up uninstalled almost immediately.
The controls were fucking weird, like pressing the analog stick in order to perform a side roll or shit like the weapon selection menu that didn't made any sense. Many other gameplay choices felt really offputting like the bloody screen so real healing system and the press Y to heal faggotry, not to mention the unnecessary slow mo time upon enemy spotting which I'm sure all of the long time fans disabled immediately, and the list goes on.
Not sure why people only keeps bitching about the length of this game while it has way too many other problems.
Hopefully phantom pain wont end up like this clusterfuck.

ITT Let's talk about stuff that could have been added in MGS games to enhance the gameplay.
For example in MGS3 it would be great if there were more soldiers with binoculars and snipers in big maps making it very hard to not be discovered encouraging you to use your camo and crawling around instead of running everywhere.
Also it would have been a big addition if the European Extreme difficulty featured an endless caution phase for the rest of the game if they have found you.

Killing in MGS
I started ground zeroes today and once again i got penalized for kills. I've done tranq run after tranq run in MGS and i still don't get why. I'm a famous soldier/war criminal when I'm playing big boss and even as Snake/Raiden the enemies in most missions are horrible people. Why does the game push for the nonlethal approach?I understand the games have anti-war themes, but they certainly never seem to have had anti-violence or anti-death themes.
