So far I've been pretty disappointed with TPP's story, gameplay/mother base is great but at this point I really wish some of the popular fan theories were true

I genuinely hoped for a mindfuck of a story rivaling mgs2, or some fanservice that would put mgs4 to shame at least.

Didn't get either.

I wonder, had Kojima known he'd be fired after the release of TPP he might have given us something epic to end on.

Short version: he didn't

Wasn't even a David Hayter cameo, which a good chunk of the main cast seemed to be hinting at. Pretty disappointing.
