The betas I think you're talking about are actually incels (involuntary celibates) - essentially, guys who wish they had a girlfriend but can't get one due to physical or mental limitations. They're MGTOW as they choose to define it, but they'd jump ship if a woman took an interest in them.

Most men, generally speaking, are followers, not leaders, and carry that mindset and are true betas. They get laid once in a while and call it 'getting lucky' because it is luck. They just roll the dice enough times and it eventually works out and they get a one night stand or a girlfriend/wife who ends up controlling them in short order. You see them all the time, they're most guys. The best ones are holding their GF/wife's purse - always makes me laugh.

Alphas are basically leaders of men. They get the most pussy (including your wives and GFs… gents, it's true). Alpha thugs (bad boys) don't lead men, but still fuck your wives and GFs and other sluts. In the animal kingdom the 'alpha' is simply the male who has the most access to pussy. Basically, women (or rather, pussy) defines the alpha. Leaders just make more of them wet. And leaders tend to have more money, but more money in itself also makes pussy wet. So sometimes no leadership or thugship is required for the rich guy who does nothing, but is still labeled alpha.

I'm trying to avoid tldr, but oh well… Then there are guys like me. I've been a true beta and I've also been a leader of men. I don't know how many women I've had sex with, it's somewhere around 100 with 8 long term relationships over 2 years. I'm MGTOW and have been for about 5 years. So what am I, beta or alpha? I don't lead men anymore, but I have money and it shows. I don't follow and I don't lead. I have opted out, completely.

A mgtow can come from the alpha, beta or omega types, maybe even zeta type but that is contentious (a zeta going mgtow is like someone who hates the taste of meat going vegan, no willpower or mental enlightenment required!)

then no, mgtows are not reverse feminists. the only way mgtow is "like feminism" is that it deals with a specific gender. it's like saying ketchup is reverse mustard because they're both used on hamburgers and hotdogs.

Not all MGTOW are the same. Many are kissless and would chuck the whole idea for the first chick who spreads her legs. Not much else can be said about these type of guys except to wish them well. They'll probably remain in that state forever but still identify as MGTOW. The only problem with them is that they white knight and derail dialogue by NAWALTing.

Other MGTOW either had hypergamy happen to them (divorce etc), which woke them up. Or they controlled women's hypergamy and just had enough of the bullshit; tired of going to that party.

It's a shitty catch 22 for young guys nowadays. They can intellectualize why they shouldn't get involved with these whores, but without a decent amount of experience they'll never really, truly understand their choices. And I can't recommend the path that leads to gaining these experiences. I got lucky, and only had one false accusation (didn't involve the police) and dodged the marriage and pregnancy bullet several times. I can't teach how to do what I did to make it through, so my advice is to avoid the whole damn thing at all costs.
