I ate very badly today. I was depressed and didn't get out of bed until 4.

I had a slice of bread and low-fat marg, hoping that that would stop my stomach hurting - I've had a churny stomach ache for the past three or four days straight. One slice turned into three.

I then had my dinner, which was 560kcal prawn spaghetti. Shouldn't have let my dad do the groceries. Never again. In future I am coming with him when he buys food for me.

I fasted Saturday-Sunday and got to 49.8kg, but today I weighed in at 50.9. It's not only frustrating but disgusting. I need to get more safe foods so that I can avoid eating things that my dad thinks would be good (560kcal! I said I was full half way through the spaghetti and offered my dad to finish it off so it was okay but I think I must have at least had 400).

No hope of the scales being down in the morning. I took my prescription-strength laxatives a few hours ago, and am hoping that they work for tomorrow. More often than not they don't.

I gained 4lbs from Friday to Sunday, but today I'm doing better. Since I moved in with more observant family, it's often hard to keep my calories down, so I consider 247 to be a good day. Pic related is the only thing I'm going to eat today - half a pack of Morrisons steak diane. I don't really have safe foods and unsafe foods any more, not since my food neophobia days; it's all down to calories.

does any one have any advice for me?? I LOVE to eat and it makes me sad when i can't stop. Diet coke is my best friend but I don't like to drink a lot of it. Are there any ways to keep track of not eating or some type of to MAKE SURE i dont put some food in my mouth?

anyways, I've lost 10lbs but i keep gaining 2-5 very often due to my irregular eating. I just wanna stop in general :p

If you feel you always have to have some flavour in your mouth, you could try:

* A vapourizer/e-cig (I wouldn't stoop so low as to recommend the real thing)
* Sparkling flavoured water
* Flavoured Diet Coke/Coke Zero e.g. vanilla, cherry
* Suck ice cubes made from frozen near-zero-calorie drinks
* Tea and coffee - different teas are obvious, but try exploring different coffees

I think I can call myself recovered. I watch my food closely, but I don't consider myself disordered. I'm simply an admirer of the skinny aesthetic. No disordered person.

Have you heard of Volumetrics? It's a diet where you can eat a lot of food, but only if it's low in energy density.

You'll still be able to eat, but you'll be eating few calories all along.

This picture sums up the energy densities of different foods.

Fruits & vegetables are great choices, because they're low in calories and high in volume.

Sometimes if I've eaten a lot of fruit or vegetables and I'm still hungry, I'll eat a spoonful of nuts just to calm my stomach. It usually works. Sugar seems to do the opposite.
