 No.275

Hi, I'm a communist trying to flee the circlejerk culture of /leftypol/ and the shitposting response to my attempts of conversation on /pol/ both here and at halfchan. Pic unrelated, trying to lure people here to insult me for frogposter only to make them stay for discussion.

 No.276

Not a communist and I disagree with everything you hold dear, so I'm not going to be much help here. With that said, welcome to midpol.

Quite the contrary. Whats the point of discussion with people you agree with?

Besides, most communists are admittedly retarded.

>welcome to midpol.

Thanks

I'm libertarian left, -3,-3 on the compass. So I suppose we have the "left" thing in common, actually.

Won't communism only work if the majority of the productive world is a proper communist group? I gave up on communism a while ago considering that what you speak of won't occur until automation takes over the industry or we enter the spaceage, and decided to try and make capitalism less shit.

What's your take on that?

I'm the libertard

Really, globalization may be the only way. I can see how that would function if everyone flew one banner and the ruling party had access to every resource we would need.

As it stands, with jobs being very quickly overtaken with self-serve kiosks, robots, autos, or some combination of these, we'll need to figure something out. before capitalism loses the engine that runs it.

Communism or something similar to it will probably take over when everything becomes automated. There just aren't going to be enough jobs for the average Joe, and machines can do the menial shit much better than we can.

Here's to the future.

Also, inb4 recession in 2016-2017

In some sense, yes.

Communism is very divided, and some hold the believe that communism wil only really be able to exist in a post scarcity scarcity (when every resource is like air is now, freely available). I don't think I belong to that group though and I think that communism is able if the majority of the people believe in its ideals and are sufficiently altruistic. A majority of people producing goods for free wouldn't leave much room for people trying to sell stuff. Both the post scarcity and indoctrination theaching people the ideology and altruism is meant to be achieved in socialism, because in theory a planned growth can be emfprced very quickly and appart from the 20 gorilion people who died this worked very well during Stalin Era before the world war, the country had unmatched economic growth, and hopes where very high that communism would be achieved very soon. I'll add a picture illustrating propaganda the pre war Era economic growth

This, mostly. I'm just tired of the contentiousness it causes. Silly me, forgetting I'm in a board for intelligent conversation right now.
