Maybe back when it was first created on 4chan. Then it got dominated by Stormfront, which led to many people leaving /pol/ and it gained the status of being a [very retarded] Stormfront hub, probably one of the biggest hugboxes there is. 4chan had enough of this shit so they started to clean up /pol/ (understandably IMO) and people migrated to here.
