Here on the Northern Missourah/Southern Iowa border we have a mix of both. The Mennonites live mostly below the border and the Amish above. I do not have much experience with the Amish but the Mennonites come into frequently to shop at the Walmart and elsewhere. In the spring, summer and autumn they come to the town's farmer's market. They're nice people and the families that come sell baked goods, eggs, unpasteurized milk and sometimes cured meats.
