The table manager made a new rule for Gumi's birthday. If anyone at the sad table got 40 happy birthday wishes then they would be able to leave the table.
Gumi and IA managed to escape from getting enough wishes. Then the manager made a special rule that if anyone could guess their secret then everyone at the sad table would be free. They were able to guess the secret so now they are all free from the sad table.

Ah, since we're talking about this I'll throw my extended opinion in.
I was there for the first half of that /v/ thread, and I thought it was all good random fun. It was only when you started getting all the characters involved that I thought it got weird. It made sense to try and free Gumi, but the others had their own birthdays to look forward to.
I said "Yukari was acting weird", and I stand by that because it seemed to me that you wanted to end the sad table as if it was a burden for you to keep it going. From what I could gather, you gave several chances to free all the characters and it eventually succeeded.
Was the birthday thread ruined? I don't think so. I think the energy you gave the thread was worth it, and nothing else would have matched it. Also, as others have said, your MMD pictures are second to none and I enjoy seeing each one. I don't think you should feel bad at all.
I still don't understand the riddle.

I have this weird fetish of making things real or at least practical, but I suppose I did go too far with this.
You were kind of right. If I made a real birthday thread, maybe it wouldn't have been such a problem. But it was too late for that.
>>17849
You weren't wrong. However, the thread was made for this very purpose. I'm not sure anyone else would have made a thread on /v/ on Friday just for her birthday. It was also relevant for everyone, since the table started with Gumi, I decided she stood above the others, and if she gets off I would let everyone go along with her.the Queen of the Table
It was tough keeping the thread up for as long as we did, but it was my duty, so I didn't mind.
>>17854
The clues were actually accidental, but they came handy when it was time for the riddle.
>>17857
I thought since it all started with Gumi, it would be fitting to end it with her as well. However weird/crazy it looked, it was planned. I wanted it to finish with a bang, alas, it didn't work out.

Once you've finished having fun at my expense, I thought I'd let you know I finished Arkham Knight. It ran like utter crap on my PC, but I managed to blitz through it. It's pretty good, though it's too heavily based around the batmobile, and there are way too many tank battles.

>tank sequence
There are a fair amount of these tank sequences, and one boss fight in particular stands out as bat-tank vs super tank. It's super weird because it's a stealth mission featuring tanks. You have to sneak your tank behind the boss and take out his weakpoints, then get the fuck out of there before he kills you.
As for the killing thing, the in-game explanation is as flimsy as wet cardboard - he's using rubber bullets and electric shocks to immobilise people. It's as stupid as the "look I can see their parachutes" line from the old DBZ dub.
>>17977
Most of the tanks are unmanned so as to fit within Batman's no-kill dogma - but yes, this latest game features copious amounts of gratuitous tank-on-tank violence. I guess they wanted to shoehorn the Batmobile in after watching The Dark Knight.

The brits codified the imperial system and spread it throughout the empire, but when we dropped it in favour of the metric system instead, you guys didn't follow suit. That's what I don't understand, the metric system was made to make scientific measurements and calculations simpler. Why not adopt it?
I must add that there are a lot of british people who still use imperial measurements. It's a point of contention in the EU who want everything to be standardised.
For the record, I am not one of those insanely proud to be british types. I don't really care about patriotism or anything.
