Partially for sure. I'm fine with a bit of shitposting, but when you can't even have a discussion it gets old. The overbearing moderation is a big thing that killed it for me. That's why I still go to 8/v/, you can actually talk about things sometimes without it getting shitposted or censored all the time. It's not perfect but better than many alternatives.

Sorry about the early lock, I get a little panicky about everyone making a smooth transition to a new thread since there were a few times when it wasn't clear a new thread had started, so the lock became a sort of standard practice for "time for a new thread guys, move up a floor".
We can still take turns. I feel pressured whenever it's time to make a new one so it'll be helpful to me too. Just let us know that you'll make the next thread.
