I'm thinking of making a quick website that shows off /miku/'s favorite albums and stuff.

So post your favorite songs/albums/VOCALOIDs/UTAUs and say why you like them.

Because cute Japanese digital singers doing metal is a thing more needs to exist.

AsaP's Yoshiwara Lament album feat. Kasane Teto. So many great songs on one album.

UTAUSEKAI is a nice intro to multiple Utaus.

>tfw rewatching the crossfade
>tfw I just noticed people are bitching about no "13km" on it
>tfw my sentiments exactly
Still, it's a great album

I'm a big fan of Utsu-P, but I'll go with CD-R for best album (remastered versions of his older songs, all improvements IMO unlike the ones on Warufuzake) followed by Algorithm (his latest).

I've wondered before if vocaloid metal was an inspiration for the producers behind Babymetal.

Len's my fav. vocaloid. I'm a fan of early music and I've always liked the sound of boys' choirs. Len has the voice type, but with much more power and unlimited "wind" behind it.

It's a combination of vocal qualities that hasn't been heard in a long time (not since they stopped castrating boys for it).

I know Len's voice provider is female, but I think tweaking the gender factors in the voice worked out quite well.

One thing that I like about Len is that he presents, as a vocaloid, the distinctly 'male' character voice range only a female seiyuu could provide. That combined with the Kagamine twins as a whole represent the entire concept behind the character voice series extremely well.

My favorite vocaloid is unquestionably Miku - I'll try to post some albums/songs I've been meaning to since I saw the thread pop up when I'm not losing it on sleep deprivation.
