1. All posts must be about multi-level marketing scams but not limited to other money making scams. Some of these include 419 scams and door to door sales jobs that are commission only for useless products.
2. Posting about people that sell fraudulent BS advice on money is also fair game.
3. All information posted that is related to those that scam.
4. If you can find information by googling it than it is perfectly legal to post.
5. Have fun!

Did a multilevel marketing presentation on that company in school a year ago and even paid the $50 for a fucking bottle of it.

It tastes kind of shitty.

Anyone associate east indians with MLM?

MLM has made me hate east indians and how dishonest and two faced they are.

 No.36

I don't know, but it seems to me like Indians are especially susceptible to falling for bullshit MLM scams.

Like it's in their DNA or something.

Yeah more or less

Anyway, I had to work with indians in the past and they are gross, like "what the fuck are you doing taking food from my plate with your fucking hands you shit?!" gross

I knew a guy who tried to get me into a MLM scam called WUN (WakeUpNow). Fastforward, and not surprisingly, WUN has shut down:

http://www.heraldextra.com/business/local/how-provo-based-mlm-wakeupnow-failed/article_c56901a2-f064-5e21-affb-ff8ddcdc6585.html

In my first encounter with the WUN slave (they claimed that they were rich and made more money than both of my parents combined, but if that was the case, why are they on a college campus trying to get people to join them? I also noticed they didn't sell any actual products (they offered their slaves access to travel deals and ripoff language learning websites in exchange for a hefty fee).

Fastforward, and the same guy who tried to get me into WUN is now part of another MLM scam, called "Novae" or "Novaelife". Novae is possibly even worse than WUN, and it is founded by people who were also involved with WUN. See for yourselves what it's like: http://www.donotlink.com/gl2i

Novae also throws ridiculous events where their slaves pretend they are having a good time:

I can't comprehend how people fall for the same schemes multiple times. Sure, if you get suckered in once, then fine. Lots of people have to learn life lessons the hard way. But to get into this stuff over and over again?

Is this like a new form of autism or something?

We got a fucked up economy so many people want to get out of their shitty lives by any means and are willing to believe whatever.

I know this board is dead, but if anyone out there is lurking, I think it's time to get this ball rolling. The poison of MLM still spreads as virulently as ever, without any serious impediment or opposition.

But with this Ashley Madison leak, I think we finally have a chance to drop some bombs. Many of these organizations keep their membership entranced through the lionization of key figureheads. If their reputation were tarnished so suddenly and severely, it could be very disenchanting to those who make up the lowest tiers of the pyramid. If enough of the foundation is removed, the entire building may even collapse.

Hopefully /tech/ will release a searchable database in the near future. Until then, consider this the preliminary call to arms. And in the meantime it would be a good idea to go ahead and assemble a list of domains to search for, so we can gather the relevant info as quickly as possible. When and if the database does go up, there's no telling how quickly it could be taken down.

Our society loved shaming the men instead of the site for scamming them, if the site was majority female it would be a much different story.

Its a lot easier in Britain, I know that is for sure. Attempting to collect autism bucks can prevent you from going into certain kinds of work in the future.

JUST LOL At copecels who buy cryptocurrency

All these shitty little altcoins won't make anyone rich at all.

I can't believe I wasted 100 dollars on dogecoin. I would have been better off hiring a street walker to fuck. BUT NO… I had to listen /biz/ on halfchan. Invest in dogecoin they said I would make it.

In fact even bitcoin is declining crypto is basically a gloriffied lottery ticket. Yes some people got made into millionaires from bitcoin. I honestly wished I invested back in 2010. I could have easily made 100k and have gone to college out of pocket. BUT NO.

My dumb ass did not listen.

Never install a program that claims to mine bitcoins with your cpu.

It does not. It is a trojan.

It's not like you CAN'T do CPU bitcoin mining.

What does /mlmhate/ think this guy http://www.awaheed.com/mlm-success/mlm-success-secrets/
He talks about how if you fail at MLM is your fault alone and praises their network, also about positive thinking and its always revelating 'secrets' of success, and posting things like pic related… this so called guru is scam or its just me been racist? (its not just his skin color, its his smile and his fucking moustache).

 No.34

Just one of many people doing the same thing. Most people in MLM shill purely as a means to grow their personal downline. Other more ambitious (and usually malignant) people will try to make a business out of the shilling itself.

The fact that the man's face is as repulsive as his character is merely a coincidence.

 No.35

They are like pickup gurus, full of shit

here's the second time:
>friend of mine who doesn't lift
>invites me to go workout with him
"what"
>go to this place
>he talks about how great it is and everything and how they have tea that burns off body fat
>walk in to this "gym" in a bad part of town
>just a bunch of herbalife shit everywhere
>thinking to myself "ffffffuuuuuck my friend took me to a trap"
>they give us the tea
>dude telling me how it burns fat off (i'm 8% body fat already)
>we flip some tires since they don't have any real weights
>we later drink some shake
>they're talking to us about how healthy it is and how cristiano ronaldo uses it

i don't get how these people can live with themselves. my friend was oblivious to the whole thing, he had no idea what MLM was and that herbalife was one.

>brah don't hate the player hate the game

How do you respond to this?

 No.22

I agree, more or less. I know people in World Ventures, and I don't hate them for it by any stretch. Even though they perpetuate and grow that monster, they're just as much victims of it, even if they are very (financially) successful.

But it's a different story if we're talking about the people up the food chain who really understand what it's all about, and who knowingly and deliberately exploit whoever they can suck into their downline. I have no sympathy for those bastards.

So, what do people think of this? I got tricked into attending their intro seminar by a shady Craigslist ad a few years back.

I didn't have to pay for the demo knives or any shit like that. There were definitely at least ten people making a living wage selling the knives. The knives are a real product, rather than the org itself being the product.

That said, they recruit pretty much entirely by lying on Craigslist, and I don't like how it's dependent on exploiting your personal social networks. For a NEET like me, it meant I did demos for my mom's work friends, and then ran completely out of contacts. I don't think I got enough money for my time, though I did get paid. And I also think might be probably worse on a resume than having nothing.

Thoughts?

 No.5

Well you can say you sold them on your resume. It isn't technically lying. Considering you got them for free and you are a NEET it is worth it. However if you were told you had to pay for ANYTHING, you should have walked out right there.

 No.9

>>5
yeah, I didn't pay for anything. the only condition was that I had to return the demo knives (duh). apparently they used to make people pay for the demo knives, and give a refund if you returned them.

 No.20

>And I also think might be probably worse on a resume than having nothing.

that's a tough call. if you have skills to list then your experience isnt as crucial. but if you have no skills then i suppose having at least 1 job before is worth metnioning

Collin Ausfeld of legacy marketing is a local scam artist of very low intelligence who runs business to business outsourced marketing company known as legacy marketing. Legacy Marketing is run by its parent company Credico which creates lots of small direct sales companies allowing Credico to make money hand over fist.

His company hires as many people as possible since he doesn't have to pay them since they are classified as independent contractors.

How the hiring process works. Apply through craigslist. Send out your resume. 1-4 hours later you get a call saying they want you come in for an interview. They talk about what the company is and about the company. You are forbidden to ask questions about pay. You are basically shown a nice office with scantily clad women. They tell you you can become the manger of your own office in one year to a year and a half.

Odds are you will probably be called in for a all day interview in which you shadow a corporate trainer and they expalin that you only get paid commission. If you are selected for a third level interview it is only 10 minutes and they just talk to you.

Now you start out workig there.
Here is what your typical day is like.

8-11
Show up in an office for something called motivation. You are given speeches and anacronyms. No pay here

Go out into the field far far away to approach random businesses mememorizing a script you have been given and walking into random businesses to check and see if they want the bullshti you are selling. You do this till about 4 pm.

great board idea, going to link it on my board (/poverty/).

basically what I know is: Any job asking you for money before they give you money is up to some bullshit.

Also, be careful using "free" resume builders online. Take caution giving them any kind of credit/debit card information, they may act like you're getting it for free, and then charge you a month later because you didn't "cancel" your service with them.

 No.7

True however not a lot of comission only jobs do that. Comission only jobs are generally a scam as well.
