Welcome to /mm/, a place for music makers to discuss, share,
and show off things that we have made ourselves, and how we did/how to do those things.

RULES:

1. All posts must be related to music playing and/or production in some relevant way.

2. Abide the 1 global rule.

Quick question: should any suggestions for things like stickies be kept as replies to this initial post you've done or are they alright to be written as new threads?

Either way, a stickied (I don't know if you have stickies here, I'm from that other site) thread dedicated to standard questions for new people like links to free online resources for learning specific instruments, mixing, etc.

It would help keep basic questions from flooding the place.

Yea, if people could keep meta related posts in this thread, that would be great.

On account of basic questions, as of now making a new thread if fine, it's not like it'll clutter the place (theres 3 thread). If the board ever picks up I'll create a Beginners Questions thread for sure.

So now we have /mm/, /eq/ and /audioprod/. Which one stays?

There's also >>>/muprod/ which has some cool stickies

 No.41

Well this one has the most posts so far…

 No.60

I'd like a concentrated board for electronic music production in general in order to separate instrument, band, music theory, and composition talk.

This is opposed to maybe a board that talks about sequencing, mastering, synthesis, other techniques, etc.

/muprod/ is geared towards Electronic music
