What's you take on the legal and individual rights of atheist in muslim majority countries?

Because the guys at /egy/ say they'll be killed if people found out they were atheists, and an ex-muslim atheist got slashed to death in bangladesh

While I'm at it, a few moar questions:

Read up on history, descent into idolatry has been a problem for many religions, including Christianity today.

Halal food restrictions are based entirely on Hadith, not the Quran.

It's not up to us to answer "why" God did what he did. But many interpret the Quran as being against all intoxicants, not just alcohol specifically.

You're never going to find ANYTHING of value in the words of an average believer, let alone a goddamn Muslim. Most people can't think in complete sentences, let alone articulate why they believe in…well, anything, really. Read thinkers like Aquinas, they will at the very least be a little more exciting because they actually know how to think in a principled manner and make a case.
