If you just want goblin stuff then stick to the forests, there is one goblin shop if you just hit explore but you dont get to do anything with her. The mountains has one salon with goblins in it but other than that as soon as you find it you can just go there directly.

The forests do have some stuff that you should be aware of. Mainly tentacle monsters and bee butt babies

Wizard here, spent a few centuries studying this particular species in depth.

I was a young apprentice at the time, around 266 years ago when there were still both male and female goblins. Females were kept back at goblin dens as the chieftain's harem to breed with. I went on an adventure once or twice to exterminate the vermin that continued to raid helpless villagers in my youth, goblin men would light fires and cackle for the sheer joy of slaughter.

We finally were able to track them down to their den and slaughtered every last one of their warriors, leaving only their women and children behind. I decided to stay behind for a day to learn more about the local tribe but no sooner than when my fellow adventurer's left, the women grew aggressive and pounced on me!

I was taken captive and… oh the things they did to me…

I left the next day.

Nearly 5, news of goblin's in the same area were causing trouble again and as I was already familiar with the area, my Master demanded I go at once and settle the matter.

I spoke to the Village elder of the region being attacked. He had told me the a few Palaniggerss had been through here and where they had went. I followed in their wake of destruction.

The Palaniggerss sure did make a mess of things, the bugger's did not stand a chance, however, I was more horrified when I came upon their den, the Palaniggerss were standing over a small bond fire and were throwing the bodies of goblin children into the flames…

I was quite overcome with emotion… I shouted at the Captain and he held me at my collar and merely 'put' me in my 'place.' He tried to lecture ME on 'inherent 'evil.' Bubcus I say!

I decided to bury the dead when they left. And low and behold the females came out of hiding, there were more than twelve times as many as before. Migration, or they grew up fast, my Goblinese at the time was still mediocre at best…

I explained to them it would be wise to move, while all the provisions were burned, I was able to summon a meager meal and assist in their relocation, over sixty females in all. I explained to them as long as they remained peaceful they would not be attacked.

I… became their captive again… The indescribable things they did to me… each one of them took turns… some two, three, four at a time, all hours of the day and night. For weeks…

I was there for over a month…

I was able to roam freely however. And was lucky to observe their work ethic and how they got along with each other, my Goblinese improved drastically and I was able to relay very useful information to them.

I then returned back to my Master to complete my report and write in detail about Goblin society.

My scholarly works grew great renown, and after another three decades of continual visits towards several different female tribes I had set up over the years throughout various kingdoms I was known as THE GOBLIN Expert.

Every five years of so, male goblins would rise up, but would not come from the peaceful female villages, the males would exile themselves to train and raid. I dared not interfere and only observed from the shadows with the aid of local rangers.

The Females had developed trading and bartering with local villages in some parts of the world, which was remarkable progress. My lessons had finally paid off. It only taken the better part of Ten Goblin Generations.

This 'Ritual' for 'Honoured Guests' would last about a week and all sorts of… acts.

I had just about wrapped up my twelfth novel on the subject matter that was Goblins, when I noticed that some female tribes have begun to move in and along side our common villages and towns. While there was some prejudiced to be had, as with any other nonhuman race, goblins were generally feared outside the kingdom, though females through the last ninety years have been more beneficial and a very much welcomed presence. Most of all the adventurer's and the guards love their presence the most, the morale has never been higher.

Every so often though a female will leave and return to her tribe and come back a year later, sometimes with a daughter and sometimes alone. I believe they have been leaving any male children born behind.

Some humans and other races now permanently inhabited some of the Goblin villages and even some have grown to be their own towns.

Sadly though, the old customs died when the towns grew and I was no longer being taken captive for weeks, now it was only for short spurts… It is a hard lesson in life, when you mix cultures you lose your own. I am glad I was there to document and experience everything first hand.

I dared never to write about it, though I had always speculated that male infanticide was occurring within the goblin tribes. But it was too late as I had suspected. I had my first suspicions when I visited the goblin towns and inquired about the males. I would be forced to participate in the 'Ritual' and lose myself in my investigation for awhile. Which I admit, was not very professional of me.

Thankfully I kept detailed record of notes of male sightings with the ranger guild and there have not been any in over twenty years. Even though there had been pregnant Goblins and Hobgoblins whom had given birth, but produced no child within those years.

I was never allowed to participate in any birthing session to witness… even though I had made attempts to do so though magical means, which all have been obfuscated.

My assistance with the ranger guild ended there as long as there was no danger to the area. I however, wanted more information, but was not getting it from anyone.

Per my observations, Goblins have the lowest chance of birth defects of any race when inbreeding. This statement is very taboo to us, however, given the fact that merely one hundred years ago, a lone chieftain could sire several generations of females in his care, even his own children would produce his healthy offspring.

I make this statement of fact because in my observations during that time of chieftain rule, of my 1610 births recorded to date, only 1 time did I note a single 'birth defect', and it was a positive effect of an innate magical nature. There were 0 miscarriages that were not physically induced.

Even when breeding with humans or non-humans, careful record keeping of a tribe for three generations had 861 births, 794 deaths, 3 ' birth defect's' all magical positives due to human or nonhuman lineage. There were 0 miscarriages that were not physically induced.

My conclusions were simple. Goblin Females are 100% made to Breed. And to not sire a child was preposterous!

I had kept it a secret because I had no actual evidence of the infanticide, I merely kept it to myself and wrote about it.

I went into seclusion after the steam engine was built and became popularized, though my books are still available as a resource, much of my information has been picked apart here and there and used in various mediums and stories.

Male goblins around the time of the steam engine were but a distant memory, goblins were a well integrated member of society, they lived longer and fit in certain roles well… like key in a lock, except the goblin has a lot of key holes that the key can access and every hole can unlock it.

Though the latter part of my history lesson may have sounded dreary, it is not the current generations fault by any means for any sins that may have been perpetrated in the past. Live your life according to your own rules and goals and good speed.
