So I got around to finding out the answer to my question and will share it here because it is very important seeing as there is a absolutely huge amount of monstergirl content on twitter. Excuse the kiki. I couldn't find a wonderland example.
First off, twitter compresses images so they look like utter shit. I can't read moonrunes so finding the artist's art blog or where they post their artwork is difficult.
To save images correctly, you must add the :orig to the end of the URL after the file extension.
Example:
