"What the hell do you want, old man?" You ask with an annoyed tone.

"Old man, huh!?" Your father huffs, planting his boot against the side of your head and pushing you sideways towards the ground. "You got a lot of nerve talking to your pops like that!"

"Jursht get to der point!" You grumble with his boot against your cheek.

"We have a fish order from Landon." Your dad explained, taking his boot off your face and letting you stand up. "Says he wants to make something special for Erik and Laura's wedding today."

"Just a few fish?" You ask." That's not bad."

Your dad crouches down and gets uncomfortably close, almost until his beard is brushing against your nose. You see the twinkle in his eye, that twinkle that makes your blood run cold.

"Not just any fish, my boy!" He grins widely. "But the Giant Blue!"

"G-giant Blue!?" You asked. "Horse shit! No way we're going to catch that by tonight!"

"Not we!" He scoffs, handing you your fishing pole. "I'm going to be catching for the other dishes. YOU are going to catch the Giant Blue!"

"Wh-What!?" You cry out as he boastfully trots out of the room, humming over your complaints. "DAD!"

You sigh in defeat and get up from the hay, patting your back a few times to get the extra straw off, you finally exit the barn, immediately greeted by a bright blue sky. It's a nice day at least, better get started… There's a river that encircles your village, the last time someone claimed to have spotted the Giant Blue was on the north side, but it probably moved by then…

Our first order of business is to take it easy.

"Hey!" You call out while the girl runs off.

You're hesitant at first, but something beckons you to follow. You run after her, jumping over the bushes and into the forest where the yellow light had landed. She's fast, but not so fast that you lose sight of her. You call out to her again but she doesn't seem interested in talking. Finally, she stops a few yards ahead of you and you slow down to catch your breath. You leave the woods and enter a clearing, the sun blinding you for a short while.

"What the hell is going o-" you try to ask, but stop yourself at the sight before you.

In front of you and the girl is…Something. Something gargantuan. It's like…A giant man, but covered in metal? The strange contraption is lying on it's back in the field in front of you, like a sleeping giant, it remains still.

"What is that thing!?" You finally manage to ask.

The girl turns around to look at you and smiles. "It's mine."

"What do you mean yours?"

"I was actually out here doing some scouting for somebody else, but now that I have my own, I don't think I'll be doing any more scouting for other people."

Her own? This…Thing? What is it? Why is it so important.

"Though I like your village." She comments. "It's really pretty and quiet, it suits me, I'll do my best to protect it from other Super robots, okay?"

Protect your village? Super robots? What!? The girl turns back to the giant and approaches it, pressing her hand against it's ankle. Suddenly, the giant comes to life! You stumble as the ground shakes and the titan slowly sits up from the ground. It's metal is a deep crimson color, with a wide chest and two large pauldrons on each shoulder. It's face, if it even has one, is concealed behind a visor, with only it's bright orange eyes visible under it's black and gold helmet. It's orange eyes flash and you see a pair of darker red pupils.

"Well now!" The girl shouts at the giant. "What should I call you then?"

The giant seems uninterested in her, going as far as to raise a finger and gently, or as gently as the giant could, push the girl away. She yelps and rolls back into the grass.

"Hey! What's the big idea!" She shouts. "I touched you first! I imprinted! Obey your master!"

The giant ignores her and instead focuses on you, you tremble under it's gaze as it razes it's hand again. You prepare to run, but instead of pushing you or squashing you or whatever you believed it had planned, the giant instead…Offers you it's hand? You stand, frozen in the presence of this metal titan.

You were hesitant at first, as you didn't want the giant to tear your arm off or eat you or something. But you complied with the very patient machine and put your right hand against the top of it's metal index finger. You flinched as strands of bright green linings coursed across the giants body and then vanished.

"W-what the hell is going on!" The girl asked, astounded. "You can't imprint on a super robot! That's impossible!"

You turn your head to ask the girl questions, but are interrupted by a loud crash from the distance. That was from the village!

"What was that!?" You ask, looking back at the direction you came from.

"Psh, impatient…" The girl pouted. "I thought I would have more time…"

"More time for what!?" You cry.

You had to get back to the village, they'll probably need your help! But before you can run off, you feel something pull on the back of your collar, and then lift you off the ground. You struggle and panicked, the giant had lifted you from the ground, you manage to turn your head to get a good look at what it was doing. A line cut down the giant's chest and soon both breast plates split and opened. It was going to eat you!?

You fought to get out of your shirt before being engulfed in darkness and eat- wait, not eaten? You made a loud "oof!" as your backside made contact with a soft cushion. You were sitting in a seat, a rather comfortable seat to be more accurate. Two metallic gloves attached to two strange, almost arm like devices rest on both sides of you. But while you were examining your strange new environments, the giants chest closes around you, leaving you in complete darkness.

You almost panic until suddenly every lights up around you, now surrounded by a strange series of buttons under each of the gloves. The inside of the chest in front of you flickers to life and, strangely enough, you can see through it? No, you aren't looking through the chest, that's too high up… Are you looking through the giants eyes? You're suddenly knocked out of your trance by another loud crash, the village is still in danger! But you hear something yelling from far down below, it's that girl…

"Hey! You two!" You call out from your seat.

Apparently the two giants could hear you even from behind the chest plate, since their heads both turned to you when you shouted.

"Get out of my town!" You command.

"What the hell?" The giant on the left, a dark blue plated "Super robot" with a moving human-like mouth, two dark red eyes, and a horn on it's head asks.

The second, a sickeningly pink giant with the form that resembles a woman placed Erik and your Father back on the ground and also turned to you, she shared the same features as her taller blue "brother".

"What's a bot doing all the way out here?" The pink one asks.

"Tsch, somebody must have skipped town and found this place before hand. If Miyo wasn't slacking she could have come back to camp and told us about this…" The blue giant adds.

"Well, if she skipped town, she probably still knows the rules." The pink giant suggests to the blue.

The blue giant smiled and stepped over the village center, making sure not to step on any of the people below.

"Alright then, stumpy." The blue giant shouts. "Lets get this over with!"

Get this over- BWOAH SHIT

The blue giant leaps into the air, more graceful and nimble than any creature it's size deserves to be. It's palms smash into your chest and you're sent stumbling back. A moment later, blue flames exhaust from it's back and your giant is sent hurdling into the air before crashing back into the tree lines. Your giant raises it's head before a fist smashes into it's face, giving you a full view of it's metal knuckles. You flinch as though that fist was going to be crushing you in your cock pit before you remembered that you were sharing the giants vision. Still, he probably doesn't like being punched in the head like that, but why isn't he defending himself?

You remembered the two gloves resting at each of your sides, are you supposed to help him somehow?

It's now or never!

You slip your hands into the metallic gloves and feel…Something, like a thousand lightning storms just went off in your head. A power which no human has probably ever felt before, It felt like there was magma flowing through your veins.

"Pretty tough for such a short bot." The blue giant commented. "It just means I'll have to hit you ha-"

The blue giant suddenly squealed as the back of your hand smashed into it's face, sending the much larger bot rolling across the ground.

"Sis!" the pink counterpart yelled before charging into the fray.

You got up to a knee and wrapped your giant's arms around a tree. "Bitch, who the hell do you think I am!?" You cry out before ripping the tree from it's roots and swinging it like a giant club.

The tree smashed and splintered against the side of the robot, causing it to stumble to the right before regaining it's footing. The two of you looked awkwardly at one another before you decided to ball your right glove into a fist and swing it. You felt the impact like it was your own fist, punching the pink bot in the side of the head and sending it spinning to your left.

"How the hell do I reverse this damn thing!?" You ask yourself before receiving two boots to your giant's chest.

You crash into the ground again, not sure if you should get up again. You felt that, oh man did you ever feel that…

"Sorry, lady." The blue giant speaks up. "But it's time to scrap your little machine… You can still live here if you want, but it's ours now."

The pink and the blue giant lean into eachother and lock fingers together. Soon their hands merge to create some sort of weapon, a large metal barrel that begins to glow on the inside with a bright blue.

It begins to emit a loud whine, and soon the blue glow brightens into a bright ball at the end of the barrel. The pink and blue giants both call out an attack at the same time.

Guess this is it. You don't know if you'll survive this, but you can at least say you didn't put up a fight… It's sad…You wished you could have learned more about this metal titan…

But.

Something seems to call out to you, a voice in the back of your head. It's beckoning you, demanding that you fight on. That magma in your veins returns and your heart feels like it's going explode from your chest. You find the willpower, no, the courage to continue fighting! All you have to do is call out it's name! A name that you feel as though you've known all along!

A mere nanosecond before the giga cannon makes contact, a bright fire explodes around you, reaching up and parting the clouds like a pillar!

"What!?" The blue giant cries out as their attack dissipates against the flames.

In the center stands a machine reborn! One that may one day rival even the gods! Yes, even the bounds of a rail road are broken against your might! And inside the machine wrapped in flames, you call out it's true name!

The pillar of flames vanish, leaving only you and your opponents, you take your stance and ready yourself for combat.

"Tsh!" The blue giant scoffs. "If you think we're going to get scared off by a light show, you got another thing coming!"

"Y-yeah!" The pink one confirms. "W-we're not scared of some tiny bot like yours!"

The battle is in your favor!

You take the initiative and charge into combat, almost tripping over your machine's too feet doing so. You flail to regain your balance, smacking the pink machine across the head. With your footing regained, you leap forward at the momentary stunned pink machine and swing behind it, wrapping your arms around it's midsection and lifting it from the ground. You hear what you assume is the pilot inside squeal in surprise as they're lifted into the air and thrown backwards, crashing into the chest of their much bigger blue counterpart.

"I think I got this…" You say to yourself, twisting Kaizengar's body around to face the much larger and much more dangerous blue variant of the two.

The blue machine was still on one knee after it's partner crashed into her, and you took the opportunity. You stamped on the right pedal and then the second to the left, causing Kaizengar to leap with his left foot into the air. It landed on the knee of the much larger blue machine, allowing you to turn Kaizengar into a spin and connect with a knee to your opponents face. You did so with enough force to cave the head in on itself and cause the blue machine to go crashing into the tree lines, rolling through the dirt until it finally landed on it's stomach.

The pink machine wobbled to it's feet and ran to Blue's side. "Are you okay, sis!?"

"That's it…" Blue growled. "That's it! Come on, lil' sis!"

The two took a position they made before and locked their hands together, morphing them into another barrel. THis one crackled and sparked with energy.

"S-sis!" Pink cried. "A-are you sure!?"

"Vaporize the entire damn machine!" Blue ordered. "I don't care what happens to the bitch inside!"

"But the law!"

"Who's going to fine out!?"

"…O-OKAY!" Pink agreed. "I'm with you, big Sis!"

GIGA CANNON

Trees burst into flames and then tear from their roots, the ground itself crumbles and parts for their mighty attack. Your eyes widen, not just because you're caught in the center of it, but you just realized that you're back is towards the village! If you go down, so does everyone else! You don't know what to do, there's nothing you -can- do! But wait…Something courses through your mind, one final gambit… You bring your right fist up and aim it with your left, suddenly, your fist begins to spin at the wrist, followed by combustion at four points. In one final act of resistance, you cry out.

BOOSTER KNUCKLE

Kaizengar's fist fires from it's arm, colliding with their massive wave of energy. The giga cannon is stopped in it's track, It gives in and splits under the might of the booster knuckle. The fist smashes through the cannon and crushes both parts formed from the two machines. Blue takes the brunt of the attack, having the fist smash through the stomach of the machine and splitting it in half. As the smoke fades, you notice Kaizengar's right hand dug into the ground a few yards away.

"Big sis!" Pink cries, using her one good arm to rummage through the remains of Blue.

She eventually pulls out a woman…A rather strange looking woman. The woman's skin was as blue as her machine's, as well as a similar horn protruding from her forehead. Her hair was a silver white and neck length. Her chest was concealed behind a bandage wrapped around her several times, ending at the midsection, and judging by her stomach, shoulders, and arms, she was in much better shape than any woman you've ever met. She was also looking at Kaizengar with seething rage.

"You won't get away with this!" She cries out. "Once the hierarchy hears about this you'll be screwed! Kiki, get us out of here!"

"R-right!" Pink, or Kiki, replied, opening her chest to let Blue's pilot inside before lifting the remains of the shattered machine with it's one good arm and running off.

The village is safe, or at least you hope so. Where do you go from here?

"Hey!" You call out while walking down your stairs. "You're the girl from earlier, right?"

No answer.

"I know it's you." You say, as you walk through your dark living room. "I should probably thank you, the village would have probably been in a lot of trouble if you didn't show me where that giant was."

It was deathly quiet, she must have heard you moving up stairs. There's no point of entry or exit anywhere that you can see, you must have left the front door unlocked like you always do…

"Honestly, this is stupid." You complain. "What the hell do you think you're going to fi-"

"HIYAH!" You hear someone shout from behind you before something lands on your back.

You stumble forward a bit while a pair of legs wrap around your chest and an arm locks around your neck. "Got you now, human!" You hear a familiar voice announce.

You struggle and swing around, grunting "Get offa me, git offa me!" As you begin smashing your back into anything you can run into.

After a few more collisions she finally relents and pushes herself off your back, gracefully and nimbly flipping back on to her feet. The hat on her head falls off during her little gymnastic, letting her hair fall down her shoulders.

"You got a lot of nerve, human!" She huffs. "Attacking a poor, innocent, Mamono like that!"

"Innocent!?" You protest "You broke into my house and then attac- wait. Mamono?"

You only now realize the two, cat-like ears resting on to of her blond hair. Her blue eyes seemed to glow in the dark as well. She grinned a wicked grin and slowly pulled the gloves off of her hands, revealing her almost human like hands covered in fur with pads on her finger tips as well as on her palm. A tail slipped on from between her pants and jacket, curling before touching the ground.

"Ufufu." She begins to gloat. "Now you see that you are in the presence of a superior being! I bet you regret attacking me now!"

Oh man…

You stand there awkwardly for a few moments while the girl sniffles and wipes her eyes against her fuzzy hands. You sigh once you realize she isn't going to stop crying any time soon and help her off the ground, letting her sit down on that comfy chair in the living room you like so much. She's still sniffling, but now you're more irritated than embarrassed.

"Well what were you thinking, huh?" You ask. "Break into someones home and expect nothing to happen?"

"I'm sorry…" she responded finally, like a scolded child.

"Look, I'm sorry for punching you in the stomach, truth is you didn't even really hurt me. I guess I was just mad." You tell her.

"I guess I'm just not use to humans retaliating like that…" She pouts.

"Yeah, about that." You rub the back of your head. "What are you talking about? You're talking like I should be following some sort of rules I've never heard of."

The girl regains her composure and begins to explain everything, where she comes from and how it all works. She says she comes from the east, far east, further than anybody you've met has ever traveled. She explains that the mamono, more people like her, control everything you can lay your eyes on. She explains that humans live under mamono jurisdiction and that human males are needed to breed, and that they can pick and choose who they can mate with unless they're already claimed by another mamono. She goes on to explain how the world is split between various great powers, each who have their own powerful Super Robot or numerous robots. But things have been tense between the most powerful of rulers, and the conflicts have forced some of the less powerful pilots to head west after rumors of unclaimed humans started to spread.

"So we're like slaves?" You ask.

"Well, not -exactly-…It…It varies." She continues to explain.

"And what about those giants? Those 'super robots' you keep going on about? Like Kaizengar?"

"His name is Kaizengar!?" She asks. "Man, that's a really cool name…"

Okay, so apparently the robots do have genders, judging by the pronoun she used.

No one knows exactly where the super robots come from, but every now and then they fall from the stars and imprint on whoever touches them first. Or at least they should.

"What do you mean?" You ask.

"You…Aren't supposed to be able to imprint on them." She explains. "A human, I mean."

"Why?"

"I don't know!" She huffs. "It's just never happened before. The super robots always seemed to focus on mamono. But Kaizengar didn't imprint on me…He, well, rejected me. They aren't supposed to do that."

More information has been revealed to you. If you have any more questions, now's the time to ask.

You couldn't help but laugh a bit.

"Oh man, machines known for choosing 'mamono' and the first one you can get your hands on doesn't even like you?"

"Hey, shut up!" She shouts. "I just wasn't feeling up to it is all…"

"Sure thing." You tease. "But what happens now? Are those other robots going to come back?"

"Well… I mean, probably." She shrugs nervously. "If not them, then somebody else."

"Wait. What?"

"It's going to get out that there's unclaimed territory out west." The girl explains. "And once it gets out that the sisters were beaten by some mysterious new machine, then even more mamono are going to come looking just for a new fight."

You sit back on the couch and cross your arms. This village…No, the entire world you know is going to be turned into a war zone. You can only protect so many at once, and there's no guarantee that the other invaders won't start fighting one another.

The settlement alliance militia doesn't have the man power to fight any kind of actual army, you don't even want to think of what would happen against even one of these machines, let alone dozens, if not hundreds.

If you have any ideas, now's the time to plan.

we must venture to the east AND CATCH THOSE TWO ROBOTS. if they return and inform people that our village is here, and a potential THREAT like a rogue robot fended them off? the entire WORLD will be at our doorstep like a pack of freaking vikings.

"If I wait too long they're going to come back with reinforcements." You argue. "It doesn't matter how tough Kaizengar is if he's getting swarmed by those machines."

"But…Okay, look." The girl tries to calm you down. "They don't know you're human, right? Human's can't pilot super robots, it's just not a thing that happens, they think you're some kind of monster."

"Right?"

"But you have a super robot, which means they have to follow the laws."

"Laws?" You ask.

"Right, the laws of battle, every pilot has to obey them if they don't want to get crushed."

"Care to explain?" You ask.

"You beat the sisters, and from what I saw, you messed up Barog fairly bad, right? The uh, the blue one was Barog, by the way."

"I figured."

"Anyways. They're under the impression that you hold dominion over the entire west. So, the idea was they bust up your machine, and they get -all- of it, everything. But, that also means you can do the same…I think…I DON'T KNOW OKAY!? Humans have never been in a machine before!"

"But there's no law against it?" You ask.

"Well no, because it's not supposed to happen." She explains. "But…Technically, I guess. If…When…Whatever, if you defeat the two sisters completely, as in both their machines are incapable of retreating. Since they don't control any sections of land or anything…They pretty much have to start doing what you say…As payment for your victory, they become your…Um… I guess servants? Soldiers?"

"So if I can catch them before Barog is repaired?" You notion.

"Then Meretz will have to fight for both of them." She confirms.

So that's your situation. Kaizengar is good to go, but you're exhausted. At the same time, only Meretz is capable to fight, but you don't know the situation with the enemy pilots. Devise a plan?

"Well…" You take in a deep breath. "I guess I should tell Dad I'm heading out first thing after breakfast."

"Really?" She asks.

"I don't really want to be playing defense my entire life." You admit. "And it sounds kind of fun, meeting new people and all that."

"You know…" She sighs. "I don't know what will happen if they figure out you're human."

"I really don't care." You tell her. "If they keep coming then Kaizengar and I will just need to keep getting stronger and stronger."

"You're actually going to do it." The girl stifled a baffled laugh. "Do you honestly think you can take on everyone?"

"If I follow the rules, then why not?" You ask. "No one should have to live in chains or fear."

The girl blinked and then curled up a bit, looking away from you. "Y-yeah, I guess you're right."

"I'm going to bed." You tell her. "Do whatever you want. Though I don't know what my dad will do if he finds a stranger in the house."

She watches you go upstairs before examining her surroundings. "Where am I going to sleep?" She asks herself.

"You're leaving town?" Your dad asks.

"Yeah, probably go ask Mark if he wants to come and then I'm heading out. I'd rather hit them on their own turf before they come here."

"Such short notice…" Your dad sighs and then straightens out. "Tsh, like I wanted to keep looking after a brat like you!"

He gives you a boot to the chest, just enough to knock you back a bit. You look at him and he smiles.

"Stay safe…My son."

With a smile, you say your final goodbyes, hoping to return home one day. As you leave, the ground around you begins to shake, and soon Kaizengar is visible across the tree lines, walking a few yards away in the same direction. You have food, supplies, and equipment for a long journey, but hopefully you won't be gone that long.

"Mark, you should wait out here." You recommend. "Not that I, you know, squish you or something."

"Right, good idea." he notes, stepping on to Kaizengar's palm and letting you drop him on the ground.

You had to crouch, but you're capable of sneaking up on them from the tree lines. You went as carefully as you could, though birds and other wild life were going to try and get as far away from you as possible every time you advanced. You get into position, you can see the wreckage of Barog in front of the kneeling Meretz.

You aim your fist and ready to fire it, hopefully you don't miss, else you're down an arm.

"Now!"

You hear the voice, but it all happens before you can react or fire. Meretz spun around on it's knee, you only now notice the boulder in it's hand. It makes contact with Kaizengar's face after Meretz thrown it, causing you to stumble from your position and on to your back.

"Shit…" You cursed, scurrying Kaizengar back to his feet.

You and Meretz stand opposite of each other, the pink machine now ready for a fight.

"I'm not scared!" The pilot shouts out. "Even without big sis, I'll defeat you!"

"Yeah!" You hear another voice come from Meretz, obviously Barog's pilot. "Lil Sis is no slouch either!"

Two grips seemed to materialize on Meretz's shoulders, who reached up with crossed arms and grabbed both. Meretz draws two, single-edged blades from each shoulder, clearly impossible to actually be sheathed in them without limiting Meretz' arm movements. It brandishes her swords, and readies for combat.

"All or nothing!" Meretz' pilot barks, dashing forward and charging into close combat, slashing her blades in a cross angle.

BEAT HER OVARIES IN

You stumbled back and brought up your arms, Meretz' swords seemed to glance off of Kaizengar's wrists with no major damage. It was like watching an entirely different fight from your view point. Your movements with Kaizengar were robotic and clumsy, but were sufficient, while Meretz moved like it was just another layer of skin for the pilot, it leaped and bound and landed with grace and beauty that you wouldn't expect from such a large machine.

You gain distance and take a stance, bringing your fists up front. Meretz charged in again, but this time you were ready, you ducked under the first blade, and weaved past the second, dashing into a low crouch with your fist at the ready. And with one, mighty uppercut, your fist smashed in between Meretz' legs, making contact with the groin and sending the machine flying through the air. You heard the pilot and her sister shout as they were launched, but Meretz quickly recovered and flipped through the air, landing on her feet with an explosion of dirt, rocks, and shubbery, leaving nothing but a crater where it stood.

Meretz, once again, leaped into combat, this time catching you off guard. Using the dust as cover, the machine closed the distance and ducked under your guard, swinging her right handed sword horizontally into Kaizengar's sides. You buckled and whip lashed from the impact, feeling the ground underneath Kaizengar give way as your machine was taken from it's feet and sent crashing into the tree line. You finally came to a halt a few yards away, lying face down in the dirt. You use your gauntlets to help Kaizengar push away from the ground, getting him up to his knees. Your head hurts now, guess you bumped it into the side of your cockpit…

"Come on, Kaizengar…" You mutter, wiping the blood from your lip. "You have to give me something…"

You can feel the ground rumble, Meretz is closing the distance yet again. You had an idea, though you're not sure if you can pull it off, all you need to do is cut her fighting power in half! You rush Kaizengar back to it's feet and prepare yourself, spreading your arms and opening the palms. Meretz leaped through the air and did exactly as planned, swinging down only her left handed blade towards Kaizengar's skull. You reacted and brought your right hand up, catching the blade at the shaft near the middle. With a roar, you ball the left hand into a fist and bring it to the side of the sword, shattering it. Meretz' pilot yelped and launched retreated leaving you with a broken blade in your ha-

Your view screen began to glow and blink a bright orange, you couldn't read the writing that appeared in front of you, but somehow, it spelled itself out in your head.

The broken blade in hand seemed to repair itself in Kaizengar's grip, until it curved just a bit more, much like a hunting knife. Several creases formed on the blade as it pushed itself from your palm while a grip miraculously materialized in it's place. You looked on in disbelief, though nothing should really faze you at this point. With a determined glare, you brought the knife up to bare, and took a stance like your father taught you.

ZENGAR DAGGER

Meretz looks at the broken sword in it's hand, you can hear the pilot inside click her tongue and drop it. It takes it's remaining blade in both hands.

You are now at a stand off.

Meretz charged first, Kaizengar followed soon after to close the distance quicker. Even with the shorter weapon, you managed to match the pink machine blow for blow, parrying and blocking every attack that was thrown your way. But even so, Meretz refuses to give you an opening to attack, keeping you on the defensive.

You take a leap back, gaining distance from the taller machine before taking the dagger in both hands and charging forward. You put as much as you can into your attack from the distance granted to you. But with a clash of blade and twist of the wrist, the Zengar Dagger is sent hurling through the air. You curse and stumble awkwardly to regain your balance before Meretz lunges in for a stab at the abdomen area of Kaizengar. But you manage to bring your machine's hands up last second, the blade stabbing through both palms but still narrowly missing it's mark.

You struggled with the machine, doing your best to keep that blade from entering Kaizengar's stomach. You tried to twist and pry your palms, but this sword didn't seem to want to break for reasons you couldn't confirm. you had one choice, you had to strike out.

You had to make the sacrifice, Kaizengar's hands or his body. You grunted, twisting the gauntlets in a way that you can break free from Meretz' attack. The blade cut through both of Kaizengar's palms, but also allowed him to dodge to the left. Meretz stumbled and fell forward, rolling back to it's feet a few yards away. As it turned, it was greeted by the sight of an airborne Kaizengar, it's hands out front. The palms were damaged, but the fingers still moved, you made fists as best as you could and cried out your attack.

DOUBLE BOOSTER KNUCKLE

Both fists fired, making contact with both of Meretz' shoulders and tearing the arms from the body. You heard both pilots gasp as their machine crumbled on it's feet. Now, falling from the air, you angled yourself just right, and landed a devestating kick into Meretz' chest, sending the machine crashing into pieces along the ground. Kaizengar rolled on the landing and finally crashed on to it's stomach, not the smoothest, but you're still functioning, unlike Meretz.

The pink machine was a total wreck. The chest piece whirls to life and opens, revealing the two inside. A familiar blue woman with a single horn as well as a slightly shorter, and more petite dark pink skinned woman with two smaller horns on her head as well as neck length black hair.

"Okay, okay!" The blue sister shouts. "We give! You win!"

"C-can we at least see who you are?" The pink sister asks. "Piloting a super robot like that, you have to be a super strong mamono, right?"

Holy shit, that was amazing! You're not even entirely sure how you do it anymore, is it your doing the actual piloting or is your machine doing most of the work? These two probably have more experience with their machines than you'll ever will, and you still managed to come out on top, it's practically cheating at this point. Well there's only one thing you can actually do now to assert your dominance.

You hope Kaizengar doesn't mind. You jut your hip forward to unzip your pants, you're going to make this introduction fucking legendary. With your member hanging out, you stand up in the cockpit and pull the lever to open the chest hatch. You step forward and lean out of the cockpit, ready to address your new subject an- bwoah shit.

Oh, right, that. You suddenly feel dizzy and light headed. You stumble in place before losing your balance and falling forward. This time it's worse, and you don't even have the decency to stay awake. You black out as you turn in a desperate attempt to grab a hold of something, the last thing you see is the sky before everything goes dark.

You wake up some time later, groggy and barely able to keep your eyes open. You find yourself under a blanket, lying on a dark green futon, you seem to be in a tent, with a lantern keeping the ten from being completely pitch black. But for now, you're alone, no one else is in the tent with you.

You make two finger guns and point them at the two sisters.

"Hey, are you two with the delivery company? Because I know you're checking out my package."

It's now silent than it was before. Nobody is laughing, good going.

You drop your hands to your side and sit down beside Mark, who had just finished his pot of whatever he was eating.

"Okay, but seriously, what the hell is going on?"

"Well. We lost." The pink sister stated. "We kind of have to abide by the rules…"

"Yeah, so where's the actual pilot!?" The blue sister demanded, closing the distance before you could put up a defense.

She put you in a headlock, a vice grip like you've never felt before. She's probably the strongest person you've ever met…Well maybe outside of your old man.

Her grip is suddenly loosened at the sound of what could be described as a loud warning horn, she backs away from you almost instantly.

"Heh…Guess you really…Are the pilot…Sorry." She says meekly, returning to her seat.

You look up above your tent and see Kaizengar on one knee, you didn't even notice him before. His eyes trailed with the blue sister's movements before returning to make eye contact with you.

You examine him further and notice that both of his hands are completely mangled up to the wrist, having caved in to the point where Meretz impaled them.

"So what does this mean?" You ask.

"Well, our machines are completely wrecked." The blue sister pouts. "And I guess…Rules are rules…"

"We're your retainers now!" The pink sister says almost cheerily. "I'm Kiki, and that's Momo."

"Yeah, hey." Momo crosses her arms and looks away.

"Oh good, we're friends now." Mark adds. "But I don't think that's going to do us any good with all of our big metal giants out of commission."

Mark's right. If you're going to keep going then some repairs are going to have to be made. But how?

Whats your plan?

You jump back to your feet and turn to your machine. "Alright, Kaizengar! You should fix yourself and the other super robots!"

Kaizengar eyes you and then looks off to the side, like he's embarrassed. He raised himself from his hunched position and showed you his mangled hands, dangling them for extra emphasis.

"Ummm." Kiki spoke up meekly. "I don't think he can do that…"

"Yeah you dummy." Momo huffed. "Self repairing bots are few and far between."

"Well shit." You curse. "What the hell do we do now?"

"We can always go to Kendra." Momo states. "But she's going to want some kind of compensation."

"Oh." Mark adds. "I don't like the sounds of that…Or I do, I haven't decided yet.'

"Who's Kendra?" You ask.

"She's a robo mechanic." Momo explains. "Most pilots on the west end go to Eliza, but Kendra doesn't ask questions or sells information to other pilots…For the right price at least."

"Can we pay her?" Mark asks. "I mean, I have a few coins in my pocket…"

Kiki cringes a bit and shrugs. "I, um. I think we can find a way to pay her."

This Kendra may be the only person that can help… Take their advice?

"Alright, we'll head that way." You agree. "If she wants one of us as payment we can always hand over Mark if she's ugly."

"Aw, come on, man."

"How far is it from here?" You ask the sisters.

"About three days." Momo tells you. "If we start first thing in the morning."

You all agree to the plan and then set in for the night. What leads is three days of awkward silence, with the four of you finding someplace to sit atop of Kaizengar while he drags along the wreckage that was Meretz and Barog tied to his forearms. You sit on top of Kaizengar's head for most of the trip, not wanting to pass out again from actually piloting the machine while Mark sits on the right shoulder and the sisters on the left.

After three days of only talking to Mark and occasionally your machine, you see something off in the distance above the tree line.

"Hey, what's that?" You ask, pointing at the structure in the distance.

"Looks like a castle or something." Mark adds.

"That's not a castle!" You hear Kiki yell from her seat. "That's Kendra's hangar!"

"Hangar?"

You're not entirely sure what that is, but you guessed that you're supposed to go there. Getting closer, you realize that it's probably the tallest building you've ever seen in your life, even taller than that Palace the Wessers build out by the ocean. Made out of metal and concrete, you continue your advance until Momo climbs on to Kaizengars head and crouches down beside you.

"You need to stop here." She says.

You nod and tap Kaizengar on the top of his head, he stops after another step.

"Business?"

You jump at the booming voice that blared from the building.

"Business?" The voice asked again.

"Our machines are totally trashed!" Momo shouts at the building. "We would like some repairs done!"

After a few seconds, the booming voice returns. "Alright, proceed."

The humongous gate at the front of the 'hangar' opens and you tap Kaizengar on the head again, motioning him to march through. You enter a large room illuminated by very large and very bright lanterns on the ceiling. To your left and right you find spots that are either empty or filled with other super robots, each of them more damaged than the last.

"Just back him into one of the empty hangars!" You hear a voice call out from below.

You comply and move Kaizengar into one of the empty spots, leaving the other two in the middle of the hangar. Kaizengar raises his forearm and lets all four of you hop on before gently lowering you all to the ground.

"Nice machine." You hear a voice compliment, you look over to see a short person wearing some sort of helmet with a black visor up front. "Who's the pilot?"

Tell her the truth?

The short girl laughs behind her visor before pulling off her head, as soon as she does so, two mouse like ears pop up on top of her hair. She shakes her head and straightens her short black hair before looking at you with her violet eyes. Her slender face compliments her petite form, she's a looker to say the least.

"A joker, I see." She muses before approaches your group. "Hi Kiki, hi Momo, I see that your machines got scrapped again."

"W-well." Kiki mumbles. "He's not…Well."

"Don't got the cash this time, huh?" The girl with mouse ears asks. "I guess I could take these boys off your hands though.

At the end of her sentence she playfully grabs your groin, causing you to hunch over in surprise with a "Ooof!". As soon as you do so, Kaizengar lets out another loud warning horn, causing the mouse girl to let go and jump. She looks up to see Kaizengar glaring down at her from where he was standing. The mouse girl looks up at him, and then back to you before her mouth opens, but she says nothing for a few moments.

"Oh jeez." She gasps. "You're not kidding, are you?"

"No, not really." You tell her.

"Well…" She scratches her cheek, examining your machine a tad closer. "I wouldn't say it's impossible, but, It's hard to believe, you know?"

"I'm Kendra, by the way." The mouse girl introduces herself, unzipping her green overalls and tying the upper half around her waist by the sleeve, her small chest is covered behind a black tube top, revealing her shoulders and midriff.

"I'm Yuu." You introduce yourself. "The half-sleeping guy is Mark, and you met Kiki and Momo before."

"I see them more than I'd like." Kendra states. "But I take it since they're machines are scrapped and yours is still moving that they're your retainers now?"

"Right." You say, much to the sisters embarrassment.

"Alright then, tough guy." She beckons you to follow. "Lets talk business in my office."

Is she telling you to come alone? Follow along?

"Alright, guess I can come along." You tell her.

"You sure, man?" Mark asks. "What with those stories you told me."

"I think I'll be fine." You reassure him.

You mean, you kind of have a few feet on her, right? You follow her along while getting a good view of your surroundings. You watch as smaller machines only about a meter taller take busted super robots apart and put them back together. It makes you wonder what she actually does in the hangar when she has these things roaming around.

Kendra leads you through a door and up a flight of stairs into a long hallway, and continues to lead you around until you reach the end and another door. You realized as you walked that the bright lanterns on the ceiling of the hallway didn't seem to have a source of flame, which raised more questions than just "How does she find the time to light them all?"

Kendra fiddles with a key and unlocks the door at the end of the hall, opening it and welcoming you inside. You accept and enter a pitch black room, you began to expect some sort of trap before you're suddenly blinded by the room filling with light.

"What?" Kendra asks, her finger at the bottom of a little switch on the wall of the room. "Never heard of a light switch before?"

"Uh." You can only spout before she enters. "Guess not."

"Jeez, sounds like you're some sort of caveman." She jokes.

Kendra unties her overall arm sleeves from around her waist and wiggles her way out of the pant legs, hanging them up on the nearby wall. You struggle not to look at her butt and legs with her bottom half only covered by a pair of uncomfortably short shorts that end at the start of the thighs, but still you manage to get a few peaks in. You notice that the room she led you into leads into several others, from where you're standing you can see what looks like a living room to the right as well as a bedroom to the left, with a small kitchen sitting at the back of the room you're currently occupying. Is her home inside this hangar?

"So I have a suspicious feeling you're not from these parts." Kendra states, beckoning you to follow her into the living room.

"What makes you say that?" You ask.

"Considering you look at everything like a lost puppy." She says, offering you a seat on the couch while she goes to sit on a arm chair across from the coffee table that your seat sits behind.

You sit on the couch as she hops into her arm chair, a piece of furniture a little too big for her, but she makes due by crossing her legs, sitting in it like a child. You only now notice the tail popping out behind her, swinging around before resting on the left arm of her chair. You spent so much time looking at the alien, yet familiar environment that you didn't even notice before.

"Okay, so, business talk." She starts. "Barog and Meretz are a total mess, more so than usual… And your…Uhm."

"Kaizengar." You tell her.

"Right, Kaizengar. His gauntlets are a complete wreck as well as the servos under the armor." She explains. "That won't be a problem to fix, but it's the other two that will take awhile…Ehhh, maybe 3 or 4 days. But it's not going to be cheap."

"Not cheap?" You ask.

"It's rare that a machine gets its insides all messed up." She explains. "Usually it's as easy as replacing a few parts in the endoskeleton and then patching it up with new armor. But they're probably going to need a total operation on their insides… Like I said, not cheap."

You look around before reaching into your pocket. "I uh…Have eleven Dens."

Kendra looks at the pieces of copper in your hand and raises a brow. "What am I supposed to do with that?" She asks, you can only shrug.

"Well, that probably wouldn't be enough, even if I knew what that was." She muses. "At least five thousand creds for all three. And I can tell you right now, Kiki and Momo don't have the cash."

You can't tell if that's reasonable or not.

Kendra looks at you again, the unimpressed frown on her face making way for a sly grin. You look down to put your dens back into your pocket, looking up to see Kendra already crawling over the coffee table. You sit back into your couch in surprise as she crawls up and mounts you.

"There's another way you can pay for it." She purrs into your ear. "An unsullied human? A pretty rare sight these days."

You get what she's getting at. You can feel her mouse-like tail brush and wrap itself around your arm while she eagerly awaits your reply.

"Oh. It's you." She greets you from the ground. "Guess you beat Kiki then, huh?"

"Yup." You confirm.

You offer her a hand and she takes it, groaning as you pull her off the ground. She trudges over to a crate nearby Kaizengar's hanger and sits down with a long and exhausted moan. You look at your drink, then at her, with a shrug, you hand her your beer which she takes happily.

"Thanky-." Is all she manages to get out before gulping it down.

She shivers and purrs at the frosty sting going down her throat, but it must have been refreshing enough as a jolt rushes through her ears and tail. "That's nice." She cooed, gently putting the bottle down beside her.

"So, Miyo, huh?" You ask.

"Yeah, that's my name." She confirmed. "Don't wear it out."

"Cute." You mock.

While you all gather around, Kendra comes skipping in with her hands behind her back.

"Hey, I'm going to be shutting down the drones for the night." Kendra explains.

"Alright uh." You look around. "Guess we can find places to camp out in here again."

"You guys slept out here?" She asked. "I should have probably said something about the extra room."

"Extra room?"

"I guess I got distracted." Kendra giggled and hugged on to Mark's arm. "You guys can have it, do what you want."

Kendra showed you and the rest to this "room" before pulling Mark away into her home. You each looked at one another before entering. It was a bedroom of sorts, with what you believed to be a bathroom off to the side. Miyo gasped happily at the sight of it, guess all of you could use a bath at this point. But sharing a bathroom didn't really occur to you as an issue, there was a more pressing matter at hand.

The room had only two pieces of furniture, a king sized bed and a single couch. It was you, Kiki, Momo, and Miyo. You seemed to be the only one that noticed while the other three inspected the room. So you had to make a choice.

"Should we rock-paper-scissors for the bed?" You ask.

The others shrug and circle around, you each say the words out aloud and show your hands.

Four rocks in a row.

Then four scissors

Four rocks again.

Four papers.

"This isn't working." Miyo adds.

"Should we draw straws?" Kiki asked.

"Lets just share the damn bed!" Momo finally shouted. "It's big enough for everyone anyways! "

"Do we uh…" You cough. "Burn the couch for wood?"

They each look at you like you're a crazy person. "I mean for heat." You add.

"Do you know what a heater is?" Momo asked.

"Like a fire place?"

"No, this place is heated." Kiki tries to explain. "Like, from those vents on the floor."

"Oh." You say, looking at the vents. "Oh! Okay!"

"I'm not going to bed without a shower fist." Miyo complained. "Me first!"

Miyo dashed off into the bathroom and closed the door. You heard what sounded like running water for a few minutes before it stopped. She opened the door and let steam bellow out of the bathroom, Miyo came in with a loud "mmmnyaaaa" while ruffling her hair and ears with a towel. You each go in one after another until it's just you, Kiki comes out with a satisfied grin, covered up by a bathrobe. Finally, it's your turn.

You enter the steamy bathroom and take a look around, spotting the bathtub right away. You tilt your head, you don't seem to find any buckets of water or stove. Looking around, you find two cranks at one end of the bath tub, curiously, you twist one of the cranks. Water begins to pour out of a faucet on the wall above the tub, catching you off guard. You yelp and fall back before you realize it's just water. What an amazing little contraption! Where does the water even come from? You put your hand under the water, but quickly pull it away, it's scalding! You try again with the other crank, way too cold. You give it a little bit of thought and turn both at the same time, putting your hand under the water again. It's a perfect kind of heat, hot but comfortable. You undress yourself and get under, cleaning yourself off under the water.

When you felt sufficiently comfortable, you turned off the water and dried yourself with a towel. You looked around and rummaged through the drawers until you found extra sets of clothing. Surprisingly, they had a few male and in your size, and you slipped into a pair of what you believed to be blue pajamas.

When you leave the bathroom, you see the three girls sitting in a circle on top of the bed and giggling to one another. They see you come back and immediately stop, giving you a look like they were keeping a big secret from you.

"This is great!" Kiki suddenly exclaims. "It's like a sleep over!"

"Yeah, but who's sleeping where?" Miyo asked.

"Well, guess we have to ask the captain." Momo pouts. "Your call."

Who sleeps where on the bed?

"I don't really have a plan." You tell her. "But I've been doing well so far just punching my way through problems, so I should be fine. Punch some more robots, get some ladies…"

"Yeah, punching your way through Meretz and Barog." She retorts. "I like the sisters, don't get me wrong, but they're not exactly leading the charge in the contender category."

"What do you mean?"

"There are a good number of machines out there, otherwise I wouldn't be able to maintain a business." Kendra explains. "But many of them are retainers or free agents for a reason, they can't compete with the big six."

"Big six?" You ask. "Like, six leaders or something?"

"Out of the few thousand super robots that are being piloted to this day, there are six that stand out, six powerful machines piloted by very strong monsters, ones that, regrettably to say, make Kiki and Momo look like little girls, and they're oni."

"I'm going west anyway." You tell her." A little bit more information would be very helpful…"

Kendra leans against a nearby crate, her mouse-tail resting against it's metal surface. She looks at you and sighs.

"Look, I was just going to let you just go and get destroyed." She admitted. "But then you brought me Mark, and…I like him a lot, okay?"

"I can see that." You tell her.

She gives you a disapproving look before continuing. "Mark is going to go with you either way, even after I tried to talk him out of it. He said something about not leaving his buddy out there alone. But if you lose, Mark loses, and I will probably never see him again."

"Then help me." You plead. "We need a…Mechanic was it called? We need one of those anyways. You're probably the only one willing to assist."

Kendra eyes the floor pensively and then sighs in frustration. "Okay, fine!" she shouts before hopping away from the crate.

"You didn't get this from me." She tells you, prodding your chest with her finger. "If you head straight west, chances are you're going to run into Gorechild. If you haven't guessed by the name, Gorechild is piloted by a Minotaurus named Hester. She modified it over the years to look more like a minotaur from human mythology. It's also stupidly strong, and around 30m tall."

30 meters. That's taller than Kaizengar by a considerable margin. "Anything I should know?" You ask her.

"Yeah, you'd think her strength was in the machine's horns, those hurt, sure, but they're there to throw you off guard." She explains. "Look out for it's ax. Gorechild's ax could probably cleave a mountain in half if it came down at the right altitude."

You wince at the thought. "Do you think I stand a chance."

"You? Probably not." She says outright. "Considering the condition you brought your machine in. Kaizengar himself? Most likely, he's a…Curious machine to say the least…But I should say, Gorechild's armor in the stomach area is rather weak, but don't expect Hester to drop her guard even for a second."

You got the information you needed. It seems everyone is still in bed, though. Wake them up or let them sleep?
