A Nukekubi is pretty much a dullahan with the difference in that her head floats from her body so it doesn't need to be carried around.

I would say it's a dullahan subspecies.

Anyone know the name of the manga that had a rokurokubi as the main heroine, where the male protagonist wound up joining a youkai-fighting group after he survived her initial attack on him and befriended her afterwards?

IIRC he wound up fighting a spider-girl who he tried to befriend even after she tried to murder him, and they had a perverted clothes-slashing kamaitachi bound into a doll that acted as their helper.

I wasn't too sure about Rokurokubi as monstergirls since reading Itou Junji's works. So naturally, I thought they were too creepy to be potential monsterwaifus.
