Like in WHFB, The Empire stands as the vanguard against chaos incursions. Your average state infantry can hold off the hordes while the priests of Sigmar can dispel and cleanse areas that have been tainted by Chaos as usual, which I guess would mean cleansing dark matter wherever it may occur.
>Dorfs
Dorfs do not into magic, they distrust and loathe the stuff, and unlike the Japanese counterparts they are far too stubborn to get pulled in by the seductions of succubi. Chaos dwarves are the ones dumb enough to think that they could make a pact with the chaos monster girls and use their powers to smith and craft more powerful artifacts and are essentially stooges in the long run.
>Elves
Back to the Japanese equivalent where Elves are weak and primitive tree huggers that exist to be raped. High Elves in Fantasy are made out of some tough shit, they've been through way too much horrible stuff to even show any signs of weakness. To make an example a group of rape orcs from (Insert hentai here) would land on Ulthuan and maybe reach one village before the White Lions put them in the dirt.
In this case I would say that the High Elves are the ones that managed to escape the dark magics while the dark elves and wood elves weren't so lucky, basically becoming the MGE equivalent but in the Warhammer world.
