I have decided to make a thread about this in an attempt to see what may occur as a result.

Pic related is porn our /co/ has made of Annabelle of Ed and Lorraine Warren Museum fame. However, for those who know the story of Annabelle, or at least are willing to read the link provided, and that are able to travel to the museum, would you be willing to show Annabelle this pic when nobody else is looking, while making sure to timestamp the back of the pic so that you can take a pic of you showing it to her as proof? I mean, if doing so leads to something, perhaps we can teach her the glory of Ammit-chan, and then her womb will become functional and she'll become our first true mamono, and the one of you who did so might end up with a nice doll waifu. I mean, there's always the chance the demonic entity responsible for hurting Lou was a different entity from the girl inhabiting the doll. For one, why would the demon quickly heal the wounds like that afterwards? It may be instead that Annabelle had some power of some kind to heal the wound. So you could end up with a sweet doll waifu with healing powers, you just have to make sure to either drive the demon away by cursing it with mushrooms meant to represent the Matango Pit, or use the less recommended method of consistently bathing her in holy water each day so that the demon stays away.

Sketchiness aside, I'm starting to wonder if they've got the whole "demon pretending to be a little girl" thing backwards, or if they're even wrong entirely from top to bottom.
It could be that the spirit inside actually is a little girl, as she said in the seance, but she pretended to be a demon when Lou pissed her off, by saying she was an evil demon that needed purging several times, which I'm pretty sure is the ghost equivalent of calling someone a massive cunt repeatedly and unprovoked. Unless there's some kind of concrete guide to ghosts I've missed out on reading, we living folk know jack-shit about ghosts' capabilities aside from hearsay, so it's possible that scratching mortals up, teleporting objects around and even posing as a demon are all bog-standard capabilities for pissed-off ghosts who want to spook everyone the fuck outta their house.
If the doll's spirit really is a little girl, then it makes sense that she'd not only get pissy and claw at him when he was alone after talking shit about her right in front of her to others multiple times, but then immediately heal him afterwards despite the wounds looking like a maim/kill effort, probably just meaning to spook his ass hard as a big "fuck you too, buddy" rather than maim/kill him. Clawing wildly at someone that really pissed you off, before feeling bad and healing them right after sounds more like a "frustrated child" sort of behavior than the work of a murderous/possessive demon, since a demon seems more like it'd just cut to the chase and kill/overtake immediately, or at least not heal afterwards.
As for the people who taunted her and almost or actually died once Annabelle got into the museum, that sounds more like it was either their own fault and got chalked up to "spoopy ghasts", or was never meant to be anything more than a "fuck with me, I fuck with you right back" thing. Making a car fuck up and crash seems like something a pissed kid with that kind of power would do to someone who messed with them, especially if it looks as though it'd only be scary and/or a pain in the ass rather than lethal. The motorcyclist probably only died because a 7 year old dead kid who spent their time as a doll inside a house doesn't strike me as a motorcycle expert, and probably wouldn't know that motorcycle crashes are heinously-deadly, possibly even assuming it'd work out like the car crash did with a non-lethal scare.
That, or he was a dipshit and crashed because he was the kind of moron who taunts random dolls in cases for no good reason, which doesn't bode well for his potential level of intelligence. That might go for the priest's intelligence too, come to think of it, considering a holy man's entire purpose is being superstitious with complete faith that the weird, often-considered-impossible shit he speaks of is very real, so he really shouldn't have dismissed a possessed doll so quickly.
Annabelle could easily be a dead little girl that tried to play nice and be honest, but got pissy when insulted and fucked Lou's shit up like a mad little kid with that much power would, leading her down a spiral of shit that ended in getting locked in what looks like a birdhouse with a window, and possibly accidentally killing some dipshit while just trying to spook him for being a shithead to her. Not sure what that'd mean for her current opinion on the living or her willingness to ride a living man's dick, but it does paint a more sympathetic picture of who she is than "BLEH DEMONS".

Alternatively to all of the above, Annabelle could actually be a more-neutral entity as a living doll, who was willing to lie to save her own ass, since pretending she was a dead kid ended up being more believable than "I'm an animated doll", or it's the initial interpretation of what she was which she rolled with. She might just be an animated doll with some odd magic abilities who gambled on a more-believable lie and got fucked in the end, the fuck-up being her losing her temper and spooking a guy who insulted her several times as revenge.
She possibly was fine with just being herself to start with, moving around on her own and happily existing with the family, then played the "little girl" card during a seance when the reaction to her being a moving doll went poorly, before getting pissed and fucking Lou's shit up in a fit of rage one day, which got her labeled a demonic entity and locked away. If I'm right, assuming she hadn't lost control and fucked up Lou for badmouthing her, she might have been able to fudge the whole "priest/medium comes in and helps the spirits move on" gig that usually happens with hauntings by not moving the whole time and/or using some magic shit, allowing her to start over again but more stealthily.
The whole "ghosts and demons" could just be humans encountering a monster girl and not having a fucking clue what they're looking at, instead trying to explain it with religion and mysticism much like any other non-understood facet of existence across history like the sun. She could be a legit monster girl animate doll, but nobody knows what that is outside /monster/, so instead they slap a "DEMON" label on her, lock her in a shoddily-made box with creepy and call it a day. Most of the spooky shit she did sounds like it could've been possible for an animated doll, such as getting out of locked rooms, moving fast enough silently for people to assume it was teleportation, or waiting for people to come home while sitting in their easy chairs like a smug little shit just for laughs.
In either case, Annabelle strikes me as generally-nice and good/neutral, but guilty of fucking up big time, because some guy kept essentially calling her a cunt over and over and telling everyone to toss her in the trash, up until she finally got mad and tried to spook his ass into shutting up already.
Also, one funny note I just realized, from the very end of the Annabelle story:

I know about the salt and will use it to line doors leading outside, but I'm going to follow the ritual excluding the part about stabbing the doll, since that makes the spirit inside angry. I also got some silver pendents which help channel spirits as well as a cat, which are said to increase spiritual connections and filter out evil ones.

Late night update. Just used my Ouija board around 1 AM, got a spirit who is 866 years old for a short conversation. This is how it went.

If the whole ritual was just shoving the spirit(s) into a vessel (the doll), could it possibly be altered to make a much more "modifiable" system? By which I mean, could you bind the spirit(s) to a sort of "heart" or "soul container", using the same sort of red string or however you did it, then insert that into whatever body you want with whatever tethering is necessary for the connection?
Assuming I'm not hilariously-wrong, it seems like it'd be simple to instead bind the spirit(s) to a central "container" (probably resembling a valentine heart, because it'd be made of fabric and plush, and why the fuck not), then slap that container into any suitable body with whatever if any connections required, and have it form a connection. Perhaps a bit like taking the CPU out of a sentient robot, slapping it into a new chassis and the CPU taking control of the new form just fine.
Seems like it'd work well, if it could work at all. The actual spirit container would be secure inside a body, and whenever the body got too beat up to fix, you could just pull the "heart" out and re-situate it in a newer body. Hell, you might even be able to do some really fucked-up shit with it, like finding other bodies to stick it in that aren't dolls.
Of course, I fully expect there to be several reasons why this magical shit doesn't work that way, in which case ignore my rambling based off pure speculation. If the fusion thing's correct, then I don't think it matters if any or all of the 5 spirits were female, or even human for that matter. The new entity seems to be female by its own judgement/by aligning itself with the gender of its body (or on a transcendent level of gayness that makes OPs everywhere look straight as a ruler, but that's unlikely), so it's most-likely female regardless of its constituent spirit's genders or lack thereof.
This is probably due to however the fusion works, likely either temporarily-overwriting the old natures of the spirits for as long as they remain combined into a new entity with its own nature, or permanently replacing their personalities with a single new one as they are permanently/long-term fused together into one entity even once the body is gone.
Another thing to think about is the "age" of the new entity, and whether or not it matches up to human aging in any way. Does it retain an adult level of worldliness inherited from the spirits conjoined to form it, or from its nature as a fully-formed "lifeform" right off the bat? Does it start off like a baby human, but progress much faster due to not having to adapt to complex "hardware" like the human body?
Emile seems to both recognize what you've got between your legs and lust after you while feeling jealousy toward anyone that might steal you away, dollmaker anon, so it seems like she's "adult", so I'm guessing she either was "adult" from "birth" due to the aforementioned inheritance/fully-formed birth principle, or aged so fast out of being a "baby" that she might as well have been an adult the whole time.
