What do mana signatures look like and how are they viewed? Do humans each have their own unique signature?

Well, I'm hardly an authority on this subject, but here are my best guesses.

1. Demon Mana in the MGE operates in a way that makes them pretty much the fantasy equivalent of nanomachines, in that they're microscopic autonomous constructions that build more of themselves and fuck around inside of people's bodies. As seen in the Dark Matter and Khepri pics, clumping enough Demon Energy together to be visible forms a vicious black sludge. In certain highly saturated environments deeper in Manono Heartland, KC has asserted that atmospheric Demon Energy will spontaneously clump together to form black tentacles to ensnare a human girl if one ever makes it that far.

2. It is unlikely that there is any observable distinction between specific brands of Monster Mana, at least not with the tools the setting has. Determining which sample is which will probably involve watching how it behaves in a free roaming environment (there is some difference in even free floating demon energy at least by country to country, as seen in how spontaneously formed Undead in Cloud Continent become Jiangshi, while everywhere else they arise as Zombies or Ghouls, and that living in an environment in which there is a single Manono species with a large enough population garuntees a woman will become on of them and not just a Succubus).

3. If that isn't feasible either, many different types of Demon Mana at the very least have specific effects on a foreign body, very often that effect happens regardless of gender or species of target (e.g. Weresheep wool makes you and everyone sleepy, Ushi Oni blood makes you go berserk, and both are latent magic abilities of their bodily systems, neither is actually casting anything for the effects.)

4. I imagine that there is substantial difference in pure Demon Mana signature only when comparing between different species, and that regular Spirit Energy is less sophisticated and diverse (Humans and any other creatures under the Chief God's domain have basically the same blueprint of life force) however, there is a lot to suggest that certain person specific traits can affect Mana, both Demon and Spirit, in such a way as to make it distinct between individuals.

5. Environment, health, emotional state, whether you're good or evil, it all minutely changes your energy flavor, and by exchanging mana through intercourse, whether with a monster or other human, you imprint another energy signature with your own and that further changes your own unique footprint.
