/mtf/ is a board for trans girls. Everyone else is also welcome, but keep in mind that this board is primarily for discussion and advice regarding transition, although anything can be posted that relates to trans girls in some way. Hateful comments regarding trans people are not appreciated.

If you feel something doesn't belong here, you can report it, and I will try to look into it.

If you have a comment or question regarding the rules or settings, please comment in this thread.

Remember to keep it comfy.

Apparently if no one posts for a week the board gets available for claiming. I don't want that to happen considering what happened last time, so I will make a post here every week.

This is now a general thread, you can post whatever you want, as long as you follow the rules.

Why? You wanna draw a board-tan for /mtf/? I dunno... what should a board-tan in general be like?

>>1164

Not wanting to be alone is very normal. Same goes for wanting physical and emotional contact.

Sexuality is about who you are attracted to, not about how you feel that you are yourself. Who do you want to be a husband or a wife to? Is it a man or a woman? Or does it differ?

Gender is about how you are/feel not what you like. That you say you're dreaming about being a woman or a man implies that you are also confused about your gender.

If there is anything you want to say or ask feel free to do so.

Sorry for the slow response. I wrote a response before but didn't post it because I didn't like the way it turned out.

My biggest problem is that if I were to have a husband, I wouldn't be able to provide him with what he needs. I know that I want to be a woman but it would make having a relationship a lot more complicated. I feel like I can't be a husband because I can't function as a man and I can't be a wife because I can't provide the biological things that women can. I completely ignored the idea of a relationship until recently. A few events in my life that happened recently made me start thinking about it. I was used to being lonely and isolated but now I feel like that needs to change.

and like i said, why do you need to be either a husband or a wife? are you just, afraid of being a homosexual, or something?

lesbian women exist, though tbh it's much easier to date other trans women

has anyone had any experience with it ?

4d5951 No.1172

I don't have experience with it but I think getting hormones is not enough, you also need to have your bloodwork done.

t. people who know nothing about HRT

self-medicating HRT is fine. most of my friends are trans and like, half of them self medicate.

if you self medicate, in most countries, it'll actually be easier to go legit, because you can skip gatekeeping

bloodwork -helps- but you can easily get a blood test for like, i think it's 100$ if you're not covered? every year or six months.

but it's really a 1 in 100 chance you get any dangerous side effects from HRT. it's the exact same shit doctors prescribe you.

you can buy hormones on ww.qhi.co.uk. if you need help with dosages, i recommend asking around on 4chan's /lgbt/ or just googling it.

I have an astigmatism and was left almost blind in my right eye when i was a child due to a doctor error. My right eye got better to an extent but it's still terrble even with glasses. And my left eye just has shit vision from the astigmatism.

So I'm forced to wear glasses, I can't even wear contacts since I need a high magnification because of my right eye.

It sucks but I deal with it, I used to have extremely thick glasses but you can get lenses these days that are about $200 extra but are as thick as reading glasses

id like to know a bit more about HRT cause of recent stuff i realized i don't know as much as i thought and when i look it up all i find are sights that speak gibberish or are just trying to sell pills that don't have a description on what they're for. could you guys tell me some stuff about the stages of HRT and give me links to reliable places that give information. i also have some question

1. can i quit HRT any time or is there a point of no return and if there is a point of no return when is that.

2. if i did start HRT and quit would my body go pack to normal.

3.are there any requirements to get HRT in the usa and if so what are those.

4.are there any necessary surgeries with all of this.

5.were could i acsess these drugs and what type of drugs are there.

6. is there a way to increase feminine features with out HRT drugs.

7. are there any none HRT drugs that could act like a replacement.

8. what is the price range for HRT drugs

thats about all but if there are things i didn't ask about that you think i should know please tell me.

708e30 No.993

Read through >>595 to know about what HRT is like.

>1. can i quit HRT any time or is there a point of no return and if there is a point of no return when is that.

Obviously nobody can make you keep taking HRT. After a while there will be some irreversible effects, such as breast growth. The real point of no return would be an orchiectomy. After that, you are bound to take at least one sex hormone, otherwise your health will suffer.

>2. if i did start HRT and quit would my body go pack to normal.

Mostly yes, but some effects will remain.

>3.are there any requirements to get HRT in the usa and if so what are those.

It's easy to get HRT in the USA. Go to an informed consent clinic. Avoid psychologists. If you are below 18, you may be able to get it with your parent's consent. You need to pass a blood test. This will determine whether you are healthy enough for HRT. You may also be given a minor evaluation, but they're really just checking to make sure you're not crazy. It's not gatekeeping.

>4.are there any necessary surgeries with all of this.

You will want to get an orchiectomy within a few years after starting HRT. Spironolactone isn't healthy for prolonged usage. Regardless, you will want an orchiectomy.

>5.were could i acsess these drugs and what type of drugs are there.

An informed consent clinic. You will get Estradiol(artificial estrogen) and Spironolactone(antiandrogen/testosterone blocker). People with allergies or out of the USA sometimes get different ones. Your dosage will start low and gradually increase.

>6. is there a way to increase feminine features with out HRT drugs.

You can get a head start in electrolysis, fashion, and voice training, but HRT is essential for a complete transition. It also makes everything easier. Your facial hair will stop developing, your voice will get higher(although not high enough to get by without training), and you will act/think more like a woman, which allows you to live like one morePost too long. Having a lot of soy is mostly only toxic if it isn't fermented. I've bathed in soymilk, which really helped softening my skin. Doesn't castration cause serious issues? I read somewhere that you can't transition after that.

>>956

I've used hypnosis, massages and some herbs

and also read a lot of sites online.

Here's a small list of herbs for breast growth;

-Fenugreek seed extract

-Saw palmetto berry

-Fennel seed

-Mexican wild yam root

-Damiana leaf

-Hops flower

-L-tyrosine

-Pacific kelp

-Dong quai root

-Mothers wort herb

-Black cohosh root extract

-Oat grass

-Blessed thistle herb

There was a massage which I keep doing at night for bigger breasts in which the breasts are rubbed from the top of the breasts in a circle inwards and then the circle continues around each breast.

I also tried a recipe which said to use organic honey with turmeric and onions in a mix but this causes temporary coloration and odor so be aware of that if you try it.

I noticed that the sides of my hips were kinda flat so I started moving the legs to the sides regularly. I also do stomach exercises. All of this helped me maybe some of it can help you.

Accidentally hit reply lel I'm on my tablet

>Doesn't castration cause serious issues? I read somewhere that you can't transition after that.

I'm castrated/had an orchiectomy. The main downsides to it are if you aren't taking estrogen as well as lacking a primary sex hormone causes oesteoperosis as well as a bunch of other problems. But since I'm on HRT as well it's fine.

Also if by "transition" you mean have SRS then no you can still have SRS after an orchiectomy. The problem comes from the fact that they use scrotal skin in constructing a new labia. If you keep the scrotum then the skin is still there for that

(Personally I'm not going to have SRS so I had the scrotum revmoved as well as I find it disgusting looking)

Does anybody have any tips on how to lose weight? Is there anything that can reduce my appetite? The only thing that helped me lose a lot of weight is what I would call the Sick Diet.

b499da No.965

Well the biggest way to lose weight is to reduce calories. I don't know how much you know about it. But I'll start from the top in case you haven't heard this before.

Normally if you aren't gaining or losing weight that means you are eating at what's known as your caloric "maintenence" this means just by living you are burning approximately the same amount of calories as you take in. If you are gaining weight that means you are eating a "surplus" amount of calories meaning you're eating more calories than you burn in a day. And lastly if you are losing weight that means you are eating at a caloric "deficit".

The simplest way to lose weight is to eat at a caloric deficit. The way you find out what an effective deficit is, is by first calculating your caloric maintenence.

Go here: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

Choose male if you are not on HRT yet and choose female if you are on HRT.

Enter your current weight and height and age (you can ignore the other options those are for the meal planner) and then scroll down to find your Basal Metabolic Rate this is the amount of calories you burn in a day just by sitting around and doing nothing. Take this number and then

subtract that by 500. This new number is the amount of calories you need to eat in a day to lose 1 pound of fat per week doing absolutely no exercise.

The key to this is tracking your calories. To do this effectively you are going to need a food scale to accurately measure the amount of food you are eating and an app/website like MyFitnessPal to track the amount of calories you eat. (MyFitnessPal is just the one I use if you search for "calorie tracker" you can find a lot of different ones)

Tracking and recording everything you eat is a must!

Now to lose weight faster you can either cut more calories (people argue that cutting too many calories is dangerous and can fuck up your body chemistry meaning it will be easier to get fat later this isn't exactly confirmed though) or you canPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

b499da No.966

Also browse through Scooby1961's videos on youtube. He's kind of lame and most of his videos are geared towards guys on /fit/ but if you look at his videos where he talks about weight loss he gives some good advice

b499da No.968

I think cocoa can help reduce appetite. Nuts are good snacks as long as they aren't salty oily peanuts.

b499da No.969

>>968

Nuts are actually an awful snack. They're healthy but for losing weight they are terrible. If you look at the calorie information of almost any nuts you'll see that they are extremely calorie dense.

Cashews - 553 calories per 100 grams

Almonds - 576 calories per 100 grams

Walnuts - 654 calories per 100 grams

Hazelnuts - 628 calories per 100 grams

100 grams really isn't a lot of nuts. Its around a handful or a cup of them if you're looking to lose weight by reducing your caloric intake by 500 calories a day then nuts are a very counter intuitive snack

They have other health benefits but just for losing weight they aren't very good

Pills are probably the best, I know some people swear by injections but I just couldn't stand going to the doctor once a week to get an injection. Besides I think if you don't drink or smoke then the side effects of pills aren't bad. I saw drink or smoke because taking the pills makes you more prone to blood clots and smoking makes that risk even worse and pills are also harder on your liver so if you don't drink you're fine

Now I hip thrust 135lbs (1pl8) and I can feel and see the results at a lot better.

Also out of curiosity how much do you squat?

I stopped for a couple months and had to work my way back up from 95lbs.

I couldn't believe how much muscle mass I lost. I've been squatting consistently since I started HRT and I got up to 2pl8 at my max but just a little while without lifting and I couldn't do even half that.

is there anyone here who has had a lot of experience with transition therapists or whatever those type of therapists are called who know really well the type of questions they ask and how they reflect on whether the persone is trans or not. i've seen questions here before but it's always just yes or no questions with yes alwayse being the trans the answer. i just want a better way to tell whether or not i'm trans from a persone that has a bit more experience and won't ask just yes or no questions cause i feel like those aren't really figuring out whether i'm trans or not. please if any one here fits what i'v asked for please help.

You won't have access to hormones for a while, so you have time to think. You're at a point where the changes of puberty haven't taken their full affect yet; you will judge how they make you feel.

Do you want to…

- be large and muscular?

- start balding?

- have a hairy body?

- be aggressive and domineering?

- be reticent and stoic?

- have a deep voice?

- get married and have kids?

- go through life blending in without anyone thinking you are odd?

This should help you put things into perspective. Think exactly how transitioning will change your life and consider whether it's worth it. Read about the effects of HRT on your body and emotions and decide whether you would be comfortable with them.

Do you want to…

- be small and frail?

- have full and lush hair?

- shave your legs?

- be dainty and submissive?

- be communicative and emotional?

- have a high voice?

- be sterile?

- have to face the challenges and stigmas of being trans?

Would you like to wear make up and dresses? How about paining your nails? Would you rather wear boxers or panties? Do you like the idea of having breasts and wearing a bra? Would you rather be in the kitchen wearing a pinafore or be in the garage wearing overalls? Which gender do you look up more to as a role model? Do male specific sexual urges bother you?

Keep in mind that HRT is a fundamental change and a lifelong commitment. Once you get an orchiectomy, which you will have to after a few years, you are going to be dependent on taking estrogen pills forever.

>large and muscular?

no, but if i were to knock trans out of the question it might be what i aim for

>start balding?

god i hope never

>have hairy body?

no, i'd really prefer to have just smooth skin

>be aggressive and domineering?

no, but i've been a bit more aggressive and dominant in social situations because if i'm not i start getting pushed around and made fun of but if i had the choice i'd go without being aggressive and dominant.

>be reticent and stoic?

for those 2 i already don't talk about my feeling much it's just hard for me to with out breaking down sometimes plus i've been made fun of for doing so. for stoic it's the only way i really know how to deal with problems and in a way we all kind of have to do this i don't really thing being stoic is gender specific.

>have a deep voice?

no not really. but similar to muscular it might be what i aim for if trans was knocked out of the question.

>get married and have kids?

well yes at some point i'd like both of those things but i'd like to be sort of like a stay at home parent if i am trans and it also depends on my occupation.

>go through life blending in without anyone thinking you are odd?

don't have that already so won't be much of a difference.

>be small and frail?

i'd like to be small but frail… well if im passable that could get me fuckin raped + i might not be able to do any thing in a mugging or similar.

>have full lush hair?

yes, i would really like that.

>shave your legs?

yes, after a while it might feel like a chore but as i said i would like smooth skin.

Are you sure? I'm a weirdo, but it doesn't compare to presenting mid transition.

>and plus why do i need to get my balls removed? can't you just keep those? and wouldn't that just add to the cost of hormones cause of the needed testosterone not to mention the surgery?

You will definitely want to have them removed. It will be a medical necessity and being on Spironolactone for too long is dangerous not to mention unpleasant. You won't need testosterone because you will have estrogen, which you will be dependent on, otherwise you would risk getting osteoporosis. You will still make some in your body. It will be a minimal amount, similar to that of a female. It will make you more feminine and it easier to tuck. The surgery will cost but you will be able to legally change your gender and save money in the long term by not having to take antiandrogens.

You probably are, but I'm not sure. You don't seem to know much about what transitioning entails. You should be asking more questions. Do more research on the subject.

Do you find the concept of being castrated to be questionable?
