The board is dead because of the classic, "oh no one is here so might as well not stick around" it's like someone walking into a meeting room, seeing no one, and instead of waiting, they just leave. Then the next person comes in, sees no one, repeats etc.

/mtt/ sounds cooler. It also has the advantage of attracting fewer migrant Tumblr and Reddit types, since you'd actually have to play the game far enough yo know what MTT is.
