Wait, how so? I've been looking for an alternative that is.

On topic, though, when it comes to not-skeletons… I'm kind of conflicted. Asgore is a close favorite for his being built up as the final hurdle getting home, and turning out to be a perfect Mr. Dad kind of guy that just wants to do gardening and have tea.

On the other hand, I didn't really go for Mettaton one way or the other… until the end of his battle, where it turns out he does have somewhat of a heart past the cringy self-obsession. Seeing him visibly shaken after 'Blook called in was a huge surprise.
