I hope you mean "early Eminem" as "everything from The Slim Shady LP to The Eminem Show". Stone-age Eminem (mixtapes and Infinite) was just a bootleg Nas.

The Allergies

Them That Do

Nas (only on illmatic)

Rodg

Hideki Naganuma

Nujabes

Pete Rock

Tribe Called Quest

Grandmaster Melle Mel

Soulbrotha

Meanwhile The allergies, Soulbrotha and Them that do are criminally underrated. Some of the only people who make what I could actually describe as hip-hop in current year.

They sound dope but there's no way to download their shit. No torrents and Soulseek is giving me the finger, I'm a poorfag student with no credit card so no way I can pay this. Any solutions other than the good old Youtube rip?

Ay m8s why didnt anyone post

Gang Starr (at least Moment of Truth full album)

InI

Scarface (at least the fix full album)

J cole, mad respect for his shit. Check his shit from beginning to end. Half way will suck, just like the beginning, but then born sinner is so fucking great if you're into that kind of rap

Jay z his start is fucking great. First album is the shit, the second and third are not worth listening to. If you want to hear more good shit after the first album, check out This cant be life, Lucky me, Its like that and Friend or foe 98 is funny after hearing the first Friend or foe. The watcher 2 and Watch me are also decent Jay z

The Product (part of Scarface Discography of dragan09 torrent) is the fucking shit. This album is really great.

Some Outkast is also worth checking out. Check out aquemini, southernplayalisticadillacmuzik is also nice, just like the beat of aint no thang. Crumblin Erb, pretty great. ATLiens is above average album fo sho.

Snoop Doggs The blue carpet treatment is nice bc of the finish (Imagine). If you dont want the feel of the album, just check out imagine, its fucking great.

Dr dre's the watcher, fuck you, the way i be pimpin (or the small part where he raps in let's get high)

Devin the dude's

Someone mentioned Nas, but the lost tapes was also good

Oh and definitely check out Warren G's album in the midnight hour. And one song of the G Files: Whats Wrong, with Halla and big nick or smth.

I dont really recommend him, but Common is also a pretty good raper. He's got this song with Premo, called the sixth sense. The finish is fucking funny man. Just like the intro of outkast's: Andre & Big Boi present: outkast.

While im thinking about great intro's, please check out KRS One's I got next intro. Instant respect for KRS One

Also, check out chance the rapper. His voice fcking sucks, but hes pretty deep, especially in Acid Rain.

Im sure I forgot a couple, but this should get anyone started if they wanted to, these are some really good rapers / tracks to check out.

Devin the dude's boo boo'n & doobie ashtray are pretty sweet

3b4dbe No.63724

becuase it's actually hip hop instead of rap pop or trap. After the 90s shit was permanently fucked. The people that people say are "underground" and "actually good" these days I fucking hate.

I can sometimes enjoy some more eminiem type shit but it has completely different appeal to me.

Everything this guy says plus

>The Stand4rd (group made a self titled album, includes Bobby Raps, really good)

>The Fugees

>Freddie Gibbs on ESGN (rest isn't so great)

>Mac Miller's Faces mixtape and parts of GOOD:AM or WMWTSO

>Vince Staples (Stolen Youth is great, havent heard much of his newer stuff)

Mandatory mentions

A$AP Rocky's Long Live A$AP and TI's Paper Trail & No Mercy

Rap isn't my main genre I prefer synthwave really

>>63678

>posting Jedi Mind Tricks or Immortal Technique

spitting out long words and pretending to be lyrical to just stupid. If I wanted a good laugh I would listen to some 2 Chainz lines. Also, fuck commies.

I know that feel, it's fucked up. People started pushing crap and now real Hip Hop is almost dead. Damn, it was a long time ago since I last heard a new song with those street vibes… I really think I'm gonna buy their CD to support them, these tracks are dope.

>becuase it's actually hip hop instead of rap pop or trap. After the 90s shit was permanently fucked. The people that people say are "underground" and "actually good" these days I fucking hate.

To be fair, calling it underground is the only way to differentiate it from fake HipHop (aka rap pop and trap). People simply dont know real hip hop (which explains the >niggermusic sentiment)

db6578 No.63883

>>63881

Old Mac Miller is yes, irrefutable garbage. Watching Movies with the Sound Off was the first album with any quality and it only got better from there.

>i havent listened to Immortal technique or JMT

They used to be my jam because I was a communist faggot, allowing people space to grow is important anon, hence why I can allow new Mac Miller

Glad I never went there. Although I am Peruvian and identify a lot with IT and his message to not be biased. Don't lie to me and say you aren't hyped for The Middle Passage tho

db6578 No.63917

>>63884

I'm really not. I don't pay attention enough to be hype. On top of that, I been so disappointed by releases in Music and Vidya recently that I really can't get hype.

It sucks but like goddamn, all the actually good artists either up and disappeared/never release/changed their sound too much ie XXYYXX, The Devil Makes Three, Schlomo, Lazerhawk, Blank Body, Frank Ocean, How To Dress Well, Sampha, Kavinsky, Neon Indian, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Washed Out

I listen to pretty much everything, recently its been a lot of RNB, 80s-90s Jazz and Vaporwave. Before that it was Bluegrass/Western

I find that some of the most nigger music (that still has a soul or at least part of one) of the genre is the best; bear with me on this one.

yes but "real" hip-hop is so fucking rare and hard to find that I can't blame anybody for this. Even a lot of what many call "real" I find to be annoying GANGSTA™ shit for children and cultural marxist faggots.

>>63921

IDK. Perhaps Nujabes and some deadmau5 beats changed it for me? At some point I heard some G-funk type shit and enjoyed the fuck out of it. Admittedly it's the stuff from the beggining of the end (Death Row, N.W.A all that west coast shit) but lots of that stuff has great vibes even if the lyrics are usually shit. It's not that hip-hop and rap can not be good, It's just that they usually aren't.

I love it when rappers add a little story in there songs

3b4dbe No.63993

>>63992

That says it all doesn't it. People say "rap is street poetry" and "it's a great storytelling medium" and yet people need to say shit like this. It's true though. Find a song that isn't just some insecure little faggot trying to over compensate and you deserve a fucking medal
