At the time that I was introduced to them I was mostly in to electronic stuff and not very acquainted with Hip-Hop but the Electronic aspect sucked me right in, so that's why I like them.

To me it's because of how well they mix punk and electronic elements but amped up by 11, having live drums, which makes them range from esoteric to catchy, like in No Love Deep Web and having great hooks like "Get Get Get Get Got Got Got Got" and "Double, Double".

Basically, i fucking loved them the first time i heard Exmilitary and up to this day i still do.

I always thought it was because we have a lack of industrial hip hop

production and the fact that Ride is probably the best writers in "hip hop" and amongst the best period

Probably because the writing in their songs is better than 99.99% of other hip-hop groups.

It's an opinion, but for me it's the crazy instrumentals and the powerful vocals.

You simply won't see a Wu-Tang concert with the whole theatre going apeshit and headbanging like crazy in a way you see at a Death Grips concert

the instrumentals, specially the drumming, Zach Hill is pretty amazing, he did incredibly well in Team Sleep too.

Because the instrumental aspect of their music is actually interesting.
