Rush has also confirmed that they likely won't be touring anymore because of their drummer (Neil Peart) having horrible inflammation in his entire body as a result of drumming as hard as he does in his old age. During interviews, Geddy and Alex said that he's in pain for the entire concert and for days after that. But somehow he was able to pull of huge North American and European tours without showing how much pain he was in.
Unfortunately this means Rush will likely never tour again. Glad I saw them last year when I had the chance.
Here's some great footage of their tour last year. Even though they're old now, they still produce some of the most full and rich sounding music compared to anyone to this day. And taking into account its only three people doing all this, that's pretty incredible.
If I were to suggest anything to you guys, it would be to see all the old bands that you love from the 80's and 70's as soon as you can. They won't be around much longer.
