They're really, really bland

They don't do anything even remotely interesting. All they ever did was rip off industrial music and even industrial rock but they couldn't even do that right, it always came out as soulless, bland pop-music.

They only have a handful of good songs on each album. They're compilation-worthy, but on a track-by-track basis they aren't a good band with all the filler they pump out.

To me they seem like a really edgy version of Faith No More. They're mediocre, but not anything bad.

Only Mutter and Reise Reise had remotely good or interesting songs. They are not too creative or innovative. But their live shows are enjoyable.

They were OK for the first two albums when they didn't take themselves seriously and most of their songs were lewd as fuck.

Then, i guess, they started pandering to the American teenage edgelords that made up the majority of their audience which is understandable, but a bit sad.

I think their cover of Kraftwerk's "Das Model" is shitty
