That said, I think this AJJ business is just sort of corny. I just don't agree with the concept of picking your name, running with it for a whole career and then just changing it to a lazy abbreviation because you don't like the people/concepts you're referencing. I understand the controversy behind Viet Cong more than this. Names only have the power you assign them and I thought Andrew Jackson Jihad was a pretty powerful name even while completely ignoring the political connotations.
