I really enjoy his style and ability to use repetition of extremely minimalistic ideas in a way that isn't annoying to the listener.

So, what's a good place to get started with using DAWs?

I don't mean the basics of music making, or anything, I've done my share of composition on paper, but just, actually using the software?

I own the Cakewalk products, SONAR and Music Creator, and the interface seems really obtuse and even finding the instruments I want to work with is difficult, though I do own them.

Any tips or suggestions?
Cakewalk's own tutorials seem to be for other versions of their software, and skip around too much, and I haven't been able to find much independently when it comes to the 'actually using the program' as opposed to 'how to make music'.

Korg Electribe

I am thinking about getting a Korg Electribe, do you guys think it is worth it? I played around with a Maschine Mikro for a bit, but I did not like it much. I figure this will be a much better deal since it is a complete package and it has the King Korg engine in it, so I can use it like a synth if I like.
