Not really, wav 24 bits is perfect if you want really good quality, but flac is too heavy and the differnce between flac and wav is not noticeable

Razor Sharp
Mix is super clean, does remind me of daft punk a little bit. Very repetitive at the beginning, but disco house is like that. When you mastered it, was it peaking at 0db? Was it pushed all the way? Sounds pretty good overall, no complaints really

Seven O'clock

The clock tock noises sounds too clipped and wet, dont like it. Again, first minute and a half is the same, mix and master seems alright, the bass seems to smother things a bit.


You are my Drug

I like this one, its a bit different, again bass seems to resonant, and smothering the mix a bit. You really captured the disco vibe here though. The arp at 1:43 I dont like though, doesnt fit.

Kaligula's eccentric party

Mix is better, bass isnt smothering, I like the middle bit as well. However when you apply the phaser, theres a bit of annoying clicking.

Overall pretty good, fairly clean mixes, certainly captured the disco feel in your tracks. Im really just being nitpicky at this stage.

- I think the bpm should be slower
- the bassline is really good, you should highpass all the muddyness at 20 hz-(50 or 60 hz) and compress it with rms so then you can amplify the bass with a limiter I can barely hear it and imo it should be one of the main sounds, disco is all about the groove
- Dig the modulated filters in the drums, I think you should apply a phasing/flanger effect to the bassline
- I think the drums should be more disco like or french house like, I'll give you some samples if you want
- The trumpets are awesome

Thanks for sharing your samples, I'll upload some samples asap. You should rarely use peak compression, I only use it in snares or synths that have some peaks, and sometimes with kicks because it can cause distortion and as the name says it just compresses the peaks not the average sound like RMS. I use the Rcompressor by waves is really good :-)

0:45 - I would add shakers and claps layered with the snare and also a digital syncopated hi hat
1:16 - I would left only the kick and snare playing with the bass and also add a chord progression
1:23 - I think this part shouldn't be repeated instead of this it should be playing what start at 1:30
!;30 - I would add vocal samples like glitch vocals
2:10 - Claps start playing
2:47 - Shakers and claps start playing again
And then it should be the outro all the instruments fade away
I do not think the song should be that 4 mins long
