How do you used all those calf and artyfx plugin on Lmms? I've already installed them, and the only plugin I see in the list is my ladspa plugins.

I'm on Arch btw.

I'm on Arch aswell. And sorry, I'm not familiar with LMMS. Maybe this will help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZKra7rNspU

Alright this sux, I made some research and theres 2 version of lmms for gnulinux. One with vst packaged (the one I currently have) and the other one is with lv2 package.

I believe I need to get the lmms lv2 version but then I wont be able to use vst on lmms because of the dependency on vst + lmms will screw up. Also, I doubt I'd able to compile that lv2 version since the package haven't been maintained since 2013.

Well at least I can run artyfx since has its own host interface.

Oh yea, I also have this https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/zam-plugins-git/

I think this package has add up dozen of Ladspa plugins into my lmms.

Stable version: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/zam-plugins/

Sorry for shilling, but you could always switch to Ardour, although it's not like FL Studio at all. Ardour is like Cubase, and it's more compatible with these plugins.

You might want to check out bunch of individual ladspa packages in AUR. They're many of them, its amazing.

I just found this one, it's good for glitch hop. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/beatslash-lv2/

I wonder if there's anything that could compare to Massive, Harmour, Serum, etc. I doubt it, but GNU+Linux audio has suprised me many times before.

6de2e2 No.1130

I found some great ones. https://www.u-he.com/cms/ There's a demo for GNU+Linux available, and they're all really nice. I'm loving Hive, and Zebra2 is good aswell. I like Hive about as much as Massive, but not as much as Serum or Harmour. It runs on GNU+Linux, which is why I'll be using it. Helm is great aswell. https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/helm-git/ Another set I found is the Loomer set. It's not nearly as good as Hive. http://www.loomer.co.uk/ These are all pretty good. I'm so happy that I found these, I won't have to install Windows at all.

I forgot to mention: I can't find the portamento in Hive. That's the only thing I don't like so far.

Nice find, it looks great.

They're all pretty good. Although none can compare to Serum, sadly.

So it looks LV2 is the new alternative to VST nowadays, except its design for gnulinux users. But Ladspa is not that bad either.

b150ce No.1149

check this site for compilation of plugin goodies of LV2 and Ladspa http://linux-sound.org/plugins.html

I managed to get them while it was in aur, but somehow most of them were deleted for aur now. But at least you can still grab them in b2z file format and extract the .so files into effect folder I think.
