If the theme doesn't work properly in your browser (designed for Chrome) or you don't like it, switch to Yotsuba B

Me neither. Fuck it, I'm hosting it on my own domain. Moving it and adding more links later today.

Audiopolis is trying to work out the bugs in the CSS, and tulpar is testing it I think.
f99f62 No.637
We sincerely apologize for what's happening with the board. we're currently working on CSS for the board. Just a minor bug, we're working on fixing it.

I've fixed it. Waiting for board owner to update CSS.

Will fix minor issues later. It might not work outside of Chrome. We'll see.

Happy birthday :^) Real nice stuff, but can I suggest trying to switch out every second bar with a very different, equally catchy part? I think it would add a lot. Then add a catchy melody and some background texture and it will be great.
f99f62 No.975

I did that after getting that recommendation multiple times. I'm currently collaborating on it with a friend of mine. Thanks for the advice though! I'll try the melody.

ca9eba No.982

Not really, I just want to add to it and not change anything that's already there. I don't know if that's considered remixing. I'll probably not be good enough at it to make a finished "remix" but it sounds perfect for practicing.

I invite all of you to listen to Dimed Out by Titus Andronicus. That's what I'm aspiring to achieve creatively. Too lazy to find a link because on my phone.

I've hidden ads on this board. In exchange, I promise to continue to buy Soft Serve ads. Hiding ads doesn't seem to go against the rules.

HUGE GODDAMN HEADS UP
because of changes coming to youtube, videos uploaded by people who are nolonger active on youtube, will be being privated within the next week, because of youtube red. If they are not active on youtube, they can't opt-in for the new ToS, which means all their videos will go private.
I bring this up because MANY OF THE TUTORIALS IN THIS STICKY are from such channels
I highly recommend someone use http://offliberty.com/ or similar to rip all those videos, and get ready to re-upload them, or upload the MP4's to the sticky page that is linked, rather than youtube links, because in the next week, many of them are about to disappear

The linked domin has a very cheap hosting plan, and copyrights are an issue. I'm afraid the only option is to replace the broken links with new ones.
9e328a No.1388
>>1382
the source that youtube red is coming out? uh, google? as in google itself is the source?
>>1383
The only way to replace broken links with new ones, is to re-upload the videos
given that we have people here who are pirating DAWs, and use things like the Amen Break, with zero credit to the winstons, uh, yeah, no.
Copyright for the videos i'm referring to, like AcePincter / Justin's videos, because he hasn't uploaded anything in 2 years or more, and likely never will, and probably doesn't even check youtube anymore, and therefor all his videos will go private. That's.... kind of a loss. and considering I had originally posted like 40 links and only like 5 of them I suggested got added because it was just too much? yeah. I'm sitting here thinking "woah, this could be a major loss of information"
for instance, though not in the sticky, and inevitably to be purged from youtube on wednesday (when youtube red goes life) the single greatest funk tutorial, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHE6hZU72A4
I'd suggest checking all the resources you've got for information that are on youtube, and find out if the channels are still active, and if not, I suggest you rip anything worth saving now, and then check back later when youtube red is live, to find out what was lost. I know pretty much 100% of warbeats tutorials are gonna be gone.
dcf8b6 No.1389
>>1388
The links didn't get added because I'm lazy. They needed to be sorted and stuff, then numerous unrelated things had to be done and I got distracted. Never really got back to it.
By replacing dead links I mean finding decent replacement videos. 40 videos, that's a lot of space. There might be a way to download a list of videos, and if not, I could write a simple program (assuming there's a YT downloader out there with no captcha and with unrestricted use), but I won't be able to host them directly on the domain's server. Could use a (free) third party hosting service, though.
dcf8b6 No.1390
>>1389
Also, hidden implication in this post: I'm very busy these days and don't have time to manually download a whole bunch of tutorials. I might find the time to write the previously mentioned program and leave the computer to it on autopilot, but that would require a downloader without captcha requirements or restrictions on how many videos I can download.
I could also try to doxx the most important youtubers and ask them nicely to sign in.
9e328a No.1393
>>1390
well I did link offliberty. don't think I got a captcha there ever, though it doesn't always automatically have video. it typically assumes you only want audio, which should tell you who uses it.
sorry you're so busy, I actually ripped the funk one myself as a just in case. not all of them are going to be going offline because only some of those channels are inactive. honestly sorting through all the channels takes longer than even ripping them.
my reason for mentioning this wasn't directed at you specifically, but everybody on the board. If anyone has a tutorial that might get removed on wednesday (when red goes live) and save those, and then afterwords when red has rolled out, we decide where to go from there. I imagine at most there'd be only a few dozen videos between everyone on the board.
making new tutorials if any disappear might also be good.
don't dox anyone to ask them to sign in. just no.

By doxing them I just mean finding their facebook profiles or e-mail adresses and asking them nicely.
