Has anyone here used McDSP plugins? Are they worth the money?

They've made several collections of all your essential plugins like EQ, compressors a supposedly awesome tape emulator, etc. While other industry standards rip customers off by not informing them that they need to pay a fortune every time they update their DAW for compatible versions, McDSP doesn't. And I don't want to use stock plugins on my finished music except maybe Maximus and a few other exceptions.

The old sound engineer dude who hosts Into the Lair on Pensado's Place youtube channel likes them.

Speaking of dank plugins that cost a fortune, have you played with any of the Universal Audio stuff?

I think I may just go ahead and bite the bullet and pick up pic related after I get a thunderbolt interface in my pc workstation.
