Taylor Swift's once-rumoured rocker boyfriend Matt Healy has slammed the pop star, insisting a relationship with her would have been "emasculating".
The 1975 frontman and Mean singer sparked speculation they had struck up a romance back in 2014, but both stars denied the gossip at the time, with Matt going so far as to describing the rumours "fake" and a "farce".
Nearly two years later, Matt has brought up the pairing once again, telling Q magazine the fanfare around the romance allegations were shocking.
"So the one time I did have a flirtation with a girl, it ends up going everywhere," he recalls. "I mean, I got on E! News and people were like, 'Who's Matt Healy?' so that was cool. But I didn't make a big deal out of it myself. It's not really anything to talk about, because if she wasn't Taylor Swift we wouldn't be talking about her. She wasn't a big impact on my life."
