 No.346117

Today’s winning Google Doodle invoking Black Lives Matter was designed by high school sophomore

JUST last month, Akilah Johnson was “surprised and overwhelmed” when she learned that she was a national finalist in the “Doodle 4 Google” contest for grade-schoolers.

Imagine how she feels now.

Akilah, a sophomore at Eastern Senior High School in Northeast Washington, has just been named Google’s big winner in the national contest, topping the 53 state and territory champions, whose work had been culled from about 100,000 student entries.

“It is really overwhelming,” Akilah tells The Post’s Comic Riffs, minutes after receiving the news Monday during a ceremony at Google headquarters in Mountain View, Calif.

“I was so excited, I started crying,” Akilah says. “I didn’t even look at anybody — I was just looking at the framed copy [of the Doodle] they gave me.”

Akilah is the contest’s first winner from Washington, as D.C. was not eligible to enter the states-only competition in past years. (The Post’s Comic Riffs had joined the chorus of voices urging that the District be included.)

This year’s contest theme was: “What makes me…me.” Akilah drew a box-braided Doodle, titled “My Afrocentric Life,” using color pencils, black crayons and Sharpie markers. The Doodle includes symbols of black heritage and signs representing the Black Lives Matter movement.

Wat?

That aside at least her, let's just call it "art" for the sake of simplicity, isn't her pissing in a jar with a crucifix or something equally retarded that modern "artists" usually come up with.

Google spends hundreds of millions every year on SJW placating bullshit. At least I hope it's placating PR. From the tech people I know it could just be a want to feel cool and not guilty about being rich. Granted a lot of them never leave their bubbles so it could be that they simply believe whatever looks good on paper. I can't imagine all the shareholders think that waste looks good though.

i'm not arguing the merits of the piece in question but there's no specific reason why premium expensive painting supplies and canvas are superiorr to a pencil and printer paper, unless and except one or the other serves the artists purposes and intentions better. that's a question for artists to argue about with other artists…

 No.346444

>>346434

he was referring to the fact I said oil earlier

and big tubes of quality oil paint, a decent set up is hundreds of dollars, like if you go to a store and pick all the colors you want like an adult with a job, you can then either make your own canvas or buy canvas, but quality big canvas isn't cheap either when compared to the dollar store shit you can grab, or stuff at walmart

I personally think when I go to a museum and see monet or rembrandt and they've painted in oil, that's the standard, that's what you're up against as an artist, so if you're calling yourself an "artist" and you're not painting in oil, you're just a pleb who's not serious

if you were serious you would realize you're in direct competition with people who used to mix their own pigment and oil along with making their own brushes and canvases, someone like picasso who was painting perfect still life as a boy is knowingly doing cubism, a real artist has to realize they are competing with people like that

so to NOT use the highest quality supplies you can get your hands on, it's just an amateur move, and if you can't get your hands on decent oil paint, get another job or figure something out, but don't call yourself an artist and be serious about it when you're using a $1 box of crayons, a $1 pack of sharpie markers and a $1 pack of pencil crayons and a $1 pad of paper

it's like an NBA player using the $4.97 thin rubber ball from walmart

 No.346445

I was almost angry that other deserving finalists got pushed over for this nig who used the black power and minority position to win. But shit like

>mandela

>blm rioters

>black fist

It makes me laugh, because she supports people like madela and blm, those who fuck over blacks and do it for themselves.

>Akilah drew a box-braided Doodle, titled “My Afrocentric Life,” using color pencils, black crayons and Sharpie markers. The Doodle includes symbols of black heritage and signs representing the Black Lives Matter movement.

It's strange how that seems to be the only concept their minds are capable of manipulating.

Everything is about how they're black and oppressed. It's maddening.

>How is no one tired of this? How is no one saying "Not again?"

Plenty of people are, hence the increasing popularity of the 'far-right'.

What you should have asked is:

>How come powerful jewish corporations aren't tired of this.

To which, the answer is, it's their life-blood. They assume they can go on stoking these anti-white fires in the deluded belief that this will protect them from a backlash, and the equally retarded belief that the effniks will accept their place as good goyim, will be as productive goyim as whites are, and won't actually start killing off kikes as they would any other race that attempts to dictate to them.

This sort of shit will continue to fester so long as the cancer that is jewish influence fails to be dealt with.

Oh wow a little nigglet won a contest because she's black.

This isn't newsworthy.

 No.346741

>>346444

I don't know if I agree with the sentiment that in order to be great art, a piece must be created with premium materials.

I don't like using acrylics. They don't allow the same blending options that oils do. Nor do they have the lovely 'velvety' effect of oils. They can also look harsh, and (surprise, surprise) plastic-y.

Having said all that, I am aware that there are many talented artists who prefer to use them, and that create eye-catching art with them.

This girl certainly isn't particularly talented, and she's clearly won a competition to see which child 'artist' had best imbibed the jew's genocidal, anti-aryan agendas.

She could be any fucking nigger. They were always going to choose a nigger (or a sandnigger, or a woman).

Most (formerly) prestigious prizes in the literary or art world are reserved for those who, like this girl, are unthinking exponents of their jewish indoctrination. This is why the art and literary establishments are such a fucking joke today.

Has anyone ever won the Turner prize, who had even a tenth of Turner's talent? Is anyone in any doubt as to what Turner's opinions of the winners of the prize named after him would be?
