Lower levels up to middle school should cover the basics.

Just so I can wrap my heads around this, what countries are you from that you think wheat takes a lot of water?

Because here in Australia, most cropping farmers grow wheat, with no irrigation whatsoever. It needs winter rain and an occasional shower in spring- and crops brilliantly off that.
