So I don't really have any experience with international travel. Can anyone explain how we're going to get visas or whatever the fuck we need to set up a town in Namibia?

9a809c No.3310

You can enter Namibia visa-free for up to 90 days coming from some countries

I think you need to go to a Namibian consulate or send them your passport to get a visa though

bump for interest

this is true and the list of countries includes 99.99% of polacks.

i wonder if it is like america where you have to leave the continent if you want to return right away?

otherwise we can just border hop and come right back every 90 days.

I recall someone in another thread saying that the three month period is just per year, and that border hopping or continent hopping won't do anything. If it's a permanent settlement, I believe we'd have to become Namibian citizens.

The people who own the land would, but the workers could border hop as a trial period.
Of this happens at all, I'm willing to bet most people won't be willing to renounce their old citizenship until they've at least had a taste for the experience.

You can get temporary residence visas for investment, studying, work, or whatever.

Once one /pol/ack gets in, he can be the employer gets in with investment visa, rest of us will get in no problem

1ec7cf No.3414

3 month visa once per year

3 months is plenty to help get a township going and to see if you actually want to live like that

or like the other anon said, get work visas if such a thing is possible from another colonist

>Nationals from the countries listed below ARE NOT required to obtain a visa, when travelling to Namibia

US
UK
almost all of europe

employment permits are up to 3 years
work visas up to 6 months

do 1st worlders even need a visa to live in namibia? i dont understand much about this

99ee9d No.3418

>>3317
If it's per calendar year, you go for the last 3 months of one year and the first 3 of the next, and during that 6 months you do what needs to be done to become a citizen.

9a809c No.3419

We don't need a visa to stay in Namibia for 90 days. Investment visa or even permanent residence permit is your best bet

90935e No.4819

this is our biggest obstacle

bump

We'd have to give up our western citizenships to join an African nation.

b7ee4e No.6680

If you renounce citizenship of your birth country for the sake of obtaining another citizenship, your government doesn't really take it seriously. So if you want to return, you would be able to.
