Industrial Hemp.

Post sources, reasons why we should, reasons why we shouldn't.

If we can legalize/bribe hemp (if it's illegal) in Namibia, this shit will literally build us up.

NO DRUGS, NO WEED, WE ARE NOT DOING DRUGS, DO RESEARCH BEFORE BEING AN IDIOT.

We should work on lobbying/bribing the Namibian government for lenient Hemp laws then, such as only allowing Hemp if it's for industrial uses, and strictly disallowing drug uses.

Hemp could save us a lot of trouble in the long run.

40db3a No.4274

Out of the question if it is illegal.

Does anyone have the source on whether industrial hemp is legal or not?

>It is against the law and anyone found in possession of cannabis will be forced with a jail detention, which rightly doesn’t stop any individual anywhere. This also implies that cannabis should not be smoked anywhere be it indoors or even outdoors. Generally, no one is excused despite your language, race and creed.

Firstly, it is MARIJUANA that is illegal (not Hemp). Secondly, as far as I can see (and no I have not gotten this from the Namibian government, so this isn't exact) only SMOKING it is illegal. We'll need to keep looking.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemp

"Other variants of the herb Cannabis sativa are widely used as a drug, commonly known as marijuana. These variants are typically low-growing and have higher content of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The legality of Cannabis varies widely from country to country, and from state to state in the United States. In many countries regulatory limits for concentrations of psychoactive drug compounds, particularly THC, in hemp require the use of strains of the plant which are bred for low content.[1]"

"A few companies produce value added hemp seed items that include the seed oils, whole hemp grain (which is sterilized by law in the United States, where they import it from China and Canada), dehulled hemp seed (the whole seed without the mineral rich outer shell), hemp flour, hemp cake (a by-product of pressing the seed for oil) and hemp protein powder. Even though hemp is marijuana's cousin, hemp seeds contain no THC (tetrahydrocannabinol),[citation needed] which is the psychoactive substance in marijuana."

"In these strains of industrial hemp the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content would have been very low.[52]"

"A total of 46 varieties of hemp with low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are certified by the European Union (EU).[55] They have, unlike other types, a very high fiber content of 30-40%. In contrast to cannabis for medical use, varieties grown for fiber and seed have less than 0.2% THC and they are unsuitable for producing hashish and marijuana.[56] The most important cannabinoid in industrial hemp is cannabidiol (CBD) with a proportion of 1 to 5%."

"Typically, hemp contains below 0.3% THC, while cultivars of Cannabis grown for recreational use can contain anywhere from 2% to over 20%.[58]"

Hemp can grow in a hydroponic environment.

This is marijuana, but they grow similarly.

i'd rather say we use that room for something edible anyways

92496a No.4315

Just so we're all aware, I'd rather grow cotton or something and have our business/colony than grow hemp and have nothing, but we should try to if we can.

It doesn't need to be grown hydroponically if it's done correctly in the ground.

Even most medical/recreational growers do it in dirt (or mix of peat moss, coco, earthworm castings, etc). I don't know why everybody thinks most growers use hydroponics, they really don't. Hydroponics are prone to sudden failures that can kill lots of plants quickly.

This would apply to greenhouses as well, if the soil is poor, use pots, probably not hydro

3fcaaf No.4491

But if you're growing industrial hemp, it will only be viable grown outdoor the regular ol way. Hope soil allows that

Looks like we're might be buying a lot of land in Keetmanshoop, so growing hemp should be possible.

farming is a popular idea, and making clothes in africa seems like a good idea.

However these people are quite westernized, they like brand name stuff.

I for one am gonna be slining fake gucci bags to niggers.
