What do they see in project? It is incomplete and young yet.

Holy fucking board sliding!

The allure of Namibia is mostly the hope of creating a new world in the image of the new generation.

That's what many engineers do for a living. They apply their ideas and concepts to price tags and production. It's why they chose the job. They just like doing it.

because our future was taken from us, and we want to build from scratch. Do you have any idea how awesome it would be to plan a new dense city with a bunch of engineers?

We could get super high thermal efficiencies in power plants though cogeneration and running waste heat into industrial plants, new chemical plants that are super efficient making beer, petroleum products, ammonia, etc., proper urban planning/civil engineering could allow for shit like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_Line_%28Los_Angeles_Metro%29 that would be a cheaper alternative to subways but have all the benefits of not being stuck in traffic. On top of all of that, we could give nuclear engineers jobs while they give us the cheap electricity the developed world doesn't want because hippies have political power.
