ITT: NamiBiz?
What are some businesses we can start over there to make ourselves indispensable?
found this thread to outline some skills people have.
http://8ch.net/namibia/res/5077.htmlEmbeded video to get the juices flowing. Ecotourism to the Naukluft National Park seems a good market sector. Perhaps we can start a small restaurant or import business. Or an IT consulting firm/call center etc.

I would like to start a brewery and potentially move into liquor or other chemicals from that point.
If not, maybe start by making fertilizer. I suspect the market is underdeveloped since the non-white farmers are super poor but our settlers would have the initial capital to make it worthwhile.

I love that idea! In the United States, one of the oldest micro breweries is the Tun Tavern.

Look if you wanna do business in namibia, you gotta go with exploiting the natural resources. Nobody gives a fuck bout IT or some other high tech shit there, nor will anybody coming there caring about it.
Economy is 100% dependant on the capability of utilizing the land and its resources.

I'm thinking some sort of small arms industry would do well. Sure, sub-Saharan Africa has plenty of milsurp to go around, but it's all dilapidated slavshit.
