I'm reading up on the Boer and their struggle to survive as a people in South Africa. The godforsaken british empire of course ruined everything for them.
I'd appreciate more sources. Wikipedia is never telling the whole story.

Found book (pic related) in an old corner bookstore for $10. Highly recommend, its a very interesting read

Boer is the Afrikaans word for farmer. It was used interchangeably historically as far as I know because most if not all Afrikaaners were also farmers. I'm not sure about present times though. I will be on the lookout for an inexpensive copy and if I find one I will post the link here
