Shilling for my idea of a trucking company again. We can pick up trucks anywhere from $5000 up and then its just a matter of finding things to transport, which won't be hard since we are white and therefore trustworthy in the eyes of your average sub-saharan and chinese businessman. I imagine expanding to air transport if we are successful enough. Demand for material transport is going to double over the next ten years and I want to cash in on that shit, son.

Also: The DRC has an estimated 24 trill in untapped resources. Lets get our shovels while we are at it m80s and be white mineral warlords in Africa while we are at it

post itt if you're interested/want to help work out the specifics. I'm thinking no earlier than 2017 so I can get enough money to have a comfortable safety net if things dont go well

23b520 No.8506

It's doable and with CISA passing into law I am willing to flee the country.

My only question is if there is a market of buyers for one thing producers is great and all but if no one is buying it's pointless. Another thing is the roads over there aren't all that great and protection. What about the virulently anti-white natives? I think shipping would be the wiser option

I am looking to get out too asap, don't need no TPP up in my shit. Doing logistical work in the military right now so it's valuable experience

Something like 80% of all Coltan comes from the DRC, I think a kilo goes for about $500 as of last year, not sure how much it's changed since I last looked it up.

I wouldn't call them virulently anti-anything, maybe in SA but the Congolese seem quite jaded. I spoke to a Belgian who was working in Ghana a while back and he said Africans are more likely to trust you if you're white, more than the Chinese and you can see how they are treated

Nothing special, the threats are likely exaggerated. Lao Yang directly talks about the state of his trucks in the doc, it seems like on the fly repairs are enough to get you by, then eventually replace the truck every few years.

Here's another vid,

If we know what we are doing I feel we can get by quite easily.

It's my first consideration. I'd also consider moving weapons/military equipment or a very small military contracting company that was strictly a secret between whoever was involved, kind of like a more low-key version of what Bob Denard was doing. Could be fun, we'll see what happens I guess. Still not planning anything before 2017.

You're still at this?

Yeah just planning, researching at this point. I think one of the reasons we have a dead board is because people expected instant results, didn't want to stick around to explore ideas. Should I resign to a corporate desk job and mediocrity? I'd rather have adventure, romanticism, risk, the part of the European spirit that's been suppressed.

The imageboard format isn't suitable for something like this. I still think your plan is going to get you killed, I don't understand why you chose Namibia when there are tens of uninhabited atolls in the Pacific. I'm going to be establishing a federation of island states over there, pay us a visit, you might find that this is a better concept.

I know about that, I saw you posting it on /pol/

We chose Namibia…over a year ago, without doing the proper research, and most people were interested in moving there for a 'colony'. It would take millions at least but it's not even a problem because I'm over the idea of trying to "colonize" something anyways. Right now I'm trying to see what kind of interest there is for investment, after the board subtitle is "Investment & Immigration". Running a business in Africa is more likely to get me killed than sailing out to remote Pacific islands and subsistence farming? Cool. Good luck with your project, it would be interesting to see something started on /pol/ happen for once. I wouldn't say a forum is suitable either, ideally one would use a secure chatroom if there were lots of people or just email if it was between a few guys, not really at the point of being even close to ready so there's no point. Just throwing ideas out there to see who is interested, I'm doing it by myself if I have to

Wow, it's been a year since I last visited. I thought this would no longer exist. Nice to see it's still up. RIDF you have any allies or are you researching on your own currently?

>>8526

Glad you're back, anon. I have an irl friend that is interested (also in the military), although he has it pretty good as it is and I don't know if in the end he will leave his job/family here to go and risk everything in Africa. I know Constantine is still around from our original chat group but not sure if he is planning his own thing or just resigned completely

I'm actually about to start trucker/CDL classes at my local community college this summer.

I can't offer much but I'd be willing to do anything I can.

9a9db6 No.8529

>>8528

Alright well the more the merrier. Mid sized trucks go for around 10K, but they won't handle a muddy Congolese road, they're more for intra/inter city transport. Serious ones go for 10s of thousands, but I can get my hands on an Ural for only 4 thousand but import/spare parts becomes a problem.

Well everything is still on the table, I'm just throwing ideas around at this point

9a27ec No.8530

>>>8529

Yes I think a Ural would be a good idea, I have a friend from russia who used to be a truck driver (transporting logs), he says that it's very reliable and good for the shitty roads they have. Also nice and cheap.

9a9db6 No.8531

>>8530

It's the best option as far as I see, and the cheapest trucks that are actually good cost at least 3-4 Urals. Only issue is importation, not sure how that would go. Also, I have no idea how interchangeable the parts are with other trucks and how easy it is to get spare parts for a Ural in Africa

9a27ec No.8532

>>8531

Yeah that would be an issue, I'm assuming that Urals already in Africa would be in shit condition, but there are probably some decent spare parts left over from Soviet aid to commies.

9a9db6 No.8533

>>8532

I'm wondering what percentage is actually in military hands though.

If I had two, one could carry spare parts

9a27ec No.8534

>>8533

A unimog is also an option, AFAIK they're not too hard to get a hold of in SA. A bit more expensive than Urals, but less import shit to deal with, and they're much better.

9a9db6 No.8535

>>8534

I never considered a Unimog, but looking it up right now and I see that they are 4-5 times more expensive, and not sure it's completely worth it. I am still thinking Ural, worst case scenario I just drive one all the way down from Eastern Europe. Might not even be possible since I'd have to go through Syria if I couldn't take a ferry. But one more thing: idk how to even operate or fix a Ural, so I would need someone who knew how to do that.

9a27ec No.8536

>>8535

Well I'm sure there are many other options for off road capable trucks, and hopefully for most stuff we won't need anything too extreme, we can just use bongo trucks or whatever.

9a9db6 No.8537

>>8536

right, I was thinking we start off transporting between cities, small transports (bongo-like) go for like 1200-5000, which I could do today no problem. I'm starting to think we can get this off the ground by September, January at the latest. I guess you are in?

9a27ec No.8538

>>8537

Sounds good, I can probably get to Africa by October.

9a9db6 No.8539

>>8538

Alright, sounds good. We can discuss the details later, just a tentative time period of course since things could happen to both of us which cause us to delay.

Which country do you think we should start out in? Rwanda comes to mind, easiest place to do business in Africa

9a27ec No.8540

>>8539

Rwanda is a good option, I'm also hoping to be able to do business in the Maghreb once the region stabilizes some more.

Certainly, the infrastructure is much more developed. Spent some time over there as well so its not as alien as a place like Rwanda is.

Well, if we make enough we can expand anywhere
