Can we talk about NatSoc economics?
It seems to me, especially after reading pic related, that a lot of East Asian economic policy is essentially fascist and mercantile.

It corrupts though. Corporations in Japan do a lot of things to circumvent taxes. For example, rich Japanese bisnessmen are paid low wages, but have all travel costs under the company, making them to go on air planes and bullet trains for the sake of it.
Government spending corruption is crazy too. Scandals all the time.

In America, you just pay off a "lobbyist" to do your bidding and get you X technology. In Japan, they will never do technology transfers with foreigners that harm Japan as a whole.
